Alter House Restaurant and Bar is a family owned Farm-to-Table Restaurant and Event Venue dedicated to seasonal, sustainable cuisine. It is our culinary mission to source the finest ingredients from regional farmers, artisan purveyors and local farms whenever possible. Here at Alter House Restaurant and Bar, sustainability is the forefront of our identity. The seasons will define our menu. Our goal at Alter House is to be the restaurant of choice in Northeast Pennsylvania.     Outstanding as always and I have to say it was the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. Cocktails, service and just the warm welcoming environment make Alter House a favorite.

    Wonderful brunch. Celebrating my mother's 87th birthday. Cocktails were outstanding, as was our brunch entrees. Service was first rate. Simply a wonderful experience from start to finish.

    A truly wonderful dining experience. The hostess and waitstaff are absolutely amazing, they were friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and came out quickly. The drinks did not disappoint either. We will be returning.
