   The food was so tasty, colorful and they had all the Peruvian classics plus some creative menu items. We loved the Sophi sashimi, the half chicken, corn ribs and the beef dish. I love their cozy covered patio and the stylish interior too. The booths were very comfortable. Their pisco sours are delicious! Perfect for a date night or girls night out.

   Great food and service. Halibut ceviche, lobster bao, pork ribs, osso buco and churro ice cream sandwich -- all great!

   I was really disappointed with this experience. After being seated, the staff seemed to forget about me multiple times. I had to ask for water three times before finally getting it, even though the table next to me was being served promptly. When I stepped away to use the restroom, they cleared my place setting and took my drink. When my second plate arrived, I had no utensils or drink to go with it. It also took a long time for them to bring out my dessert. To top it off, the waitress seemed annoyed when I asked for utensils to take with my dessert to go. That said, the dessert itself was fantastic—lucuma ice cream with a churro. It was the highlight of the meal.

   Enjoyed the variety on the menu, along with great flavor and beautiful presentation. We split halibut ceviche, crab with purple potatoes, beef short rib, ahi de gallina, and the lomo saltado. Everyone enjoyed and the flavors were spot on for Peruvian dishes, even if slightly less peppers are used than when in the country. Service was nice with few interruptions.

   This was a wonderful meal, with beautiful decor and excellent service for a family party of 10 on the back covered-and-heated patio. We ate a leisurely meal around one long table. The food is first-rate Peruvian/fusion Californian. My husband especially enjoyed the osso bucco. Cocktails during happy hour were delicious and not too expensive. Overall, we are glad to have this as a first-class restaurant in our neighborhood! Free parking across the street at Lucky's Supermarket made the restaurant especially attractive. Welcome Altamirano!

   First time at Altamirano Restaurant, we were eating a delicious Peruvian food and drinks. Thank you Rodrigo! with your excellent service and recommendations you made our day so great. I highly recommend it.

    The waitress was not friendly. Lomo Saltado beef was chewy and bland without the juice from the saltado and there was not enough juice. It was served with potato pieces instead of French fries which I did not enjoy. The tomato pieces were too big and there were not enough of them. The fish in the ceviche was chewy and again it needed more juice and marination. The salvation was the crab causa and the desserts: churro sandwich and the chicha crème brûlée. I was looking forward to trying Altamirano and was disappointed.
