Made our reservation 3 weeks ago for a birthday dinner. Server advised no Ahi Tuna in stock which quickly removed 3 of our “must have” dishes. Ordered the Miso Cod which we suspected wasn’t cod at all. Server confirmed it was trout, not cod, after the meal. Will never eat here again. Telling friends to stay far away. What a huge letdown given all the hype. 2/10.

What a lovely addition to the Calgary restaurant scene! Our food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were so fun!

Great new restaurant. So nice to find a place with unique and tasty food options, lovely ambiance, and friendly service. The cocktails are unique and delicious, and we loved the “sharing plates” menu, which allowed our group of four to try many of the menu items. The food was fresh and we lovely everything that we ordered. This is a hidden gem. We are already playing our next visit!

This is our sixth time so obviously we like this place. The food is exceptional and service is phenomenal. Continue as you are and your place will not only succeed but do exceptionally well. I tell everyone I know how good this restaurant is.

Decided to try this place after seeing some recommendations of it online as authentic Hawaiian cuisine. I would say I was a bit disappointed after all the hype. The staff were friendly enough and the restaurant itself had been decorated quite nicely, but the place felt like a nicely painted diner. For the food, the only thing that didn’t disappoint was the aloha poke, but I was hoping they would offer an actual poke bowl as a main and not just as a small plate. The rest of our food wasn’t anything to rave about, but at that price point I was expecting a lot more to be honest. It was nice to try once but I don’t think we’ll be back. The water we were served wasn’t even cold.

Great meal ( again) the kohlrabi ribs ( chef’s kiss) and garlic noodles are the standouts along with the masubi. Don’t forget the deconstructed pineapple cheesecake- so rich and delicious- seems small when first brought out but is very very rich and filling!

The food here is definitely a return to the Hawaiian food experience. We had several dishes including the garlic noodles, garlic shrimp, Miso cod and several others. All were great. The Hawaiian cocktails are the best you could expect at any Hawaiian restaurant.
