Almond - Bridgehampton
Co-founder and chef Jason Weiner creates seasonally focused ever-changing menus that are guided by a market driven ethos. We highlight our personal relationships with growers, fishermen, artisans and winemakers.
Our menus are artisanal and market driven featuring some updated takes on classic french/mediterannean cuisine, ethnic street food and lots of stuff in between.
We are obsessive about the handmade...We hang our own charcuterie, grind our own sausage, ferment our own kimchi, dry age own steaks, and smoke our own fish & bacon.
The wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines. Specialty cocktails, NY craft beers, and raw bar selections, along with the entire menu are available at the restaurant’s 15 seat bar.
Service was great, as was food but timing of delivery of each course could be improved upon, as could cocktails. Need to make the mezcal drink more approachable. Great experience otherwise!
Chef Jeremy is the best!!!
Very nice environment and excellent healthy food. So good, we tried it one night and went right back again the very next night!
Almond always great but this time particularly fabulous. Cauliflower apple soup with a tiny bit of curry oil, lamb chops with black eyed peas in a yummy sauce and chocolate pot de creme for dessert because you deserve it when the weather is crummy. Clearly still the best food on the East End.
Almond Restaurant is great. My friends and I had a great dinner. The food was unique and absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it. Our server Scott was top notch as was the rest of the staff and a definite shout out to Jeremy.
Wonderful atmosphere and service. Nice selection of food.
Almond is one of our favorites and it did not disappoint this time. For starters, the shrimp cocktail was excellent as were the ginger noodles. We both had the mussels for dinner. They were sublime.
When you add in top rate service and a fun atmosphere, it's no wonder we love coming here!
Friendly, casual neighbourhood restaurant. Unfussy, warm atmosphere. Good food. Good service.
Loved everything. Great place!
We come to Almond regularly, like its good quality, service, and ambiance. This visit was fine, but perhaps with less experienced service that kept it from rising to its usual high standards. Only complaint on the food, the pork ravioli was delicious but the portion size was kinda small. Four ravioli for $32 felt inadequate, both as a portion size, and overly expensive. Make it 5, guys, and you will have a much more satisfying dish.
Almond is one of our favorite restaurants in the Hamptons. We love the decor, the atmosphere. The staff are all warm and excellent and the food is wonderfully creative.
This is one of our "go to" restaurants and they are always warm and welcoming. I love the Brussels sprouts salad - it is awesome. My husband tried the new pasta dish - pork ravioli and he loved it. The only issue I have is that the service was so quick that our dinner came as we were finishing our appetizer and I could hardly eat my steak frites (but it was really good). We should have waited to order dinner so we could have enjoyed our cocktail - the food just comes too fast.
Always our favorite restaurant in Bridgehampton. Wonderfully warm, friendly and excellent food.
Great as always!
Almond's secret is that it changes very little. Very well prepared food using local ingredients served in a casual atmosphere. Nice bar scene and always some interesting beers available.
It was spectacular! Our waiter Jack was so informative about the food and made our dinner a
Spectacular food, service, and ambience
There were many interesting choices on the varied (though overly cute) menu. The prix fixes at $32.50 is a huge bargain, and the choices were good. Ordering a la carte is much more expensive, but the food is excellent. The staff (Ryan, server, Jack Maitre de and the bus staff) and host (the ebullient Eric) are attentive and knowledgeable. Altogether, a great place to spend a cold Sunday evening.
Amazing as always... One of my 5 favorite restaurants in the Hamptons. Amazing food with awesome service in a REALLY cool vibrant dining room. Never disappoints.
Meatless Monday is the best!
Everything was great, except for the noise level
Wide variety of entrees and appetizers
Price fixed menu was great value
The desserts are beyond words ...they were so good I would to go back just to eat them for dinner
Been a regular for a decade and a half . Always a great experience
I loved the wild foods menu! It was so creative, inspiring and delicious! Almond knows how to win the hearts and minds of the public when it comes to sustainable eating trends. I will be back on a regular basis for more innovative meals, especially for the writers & artist nights.
Great place....very nice service...food was really good, cozy atmosphere...loved the candles, and the Halloween decorations. Will def be back.
Fabulous time, great dinner! Thank you!
Always good, service great, atmosphere nice, busy but controlled
Almond is our favorite restaurant in Bridgehampton. The food is excellent, the staff are knowledge and personable and the owners take great pride in ensuring a great evening.
Very popular restaurant in historic building with pressed tin ceiling so it gets noisy when crowded. Kid friendly. Limited menu of steak, shops, fish, pasta, raw bar, desserts. Good quality food. Pricey.
Wonderfully prepared scallop dish. Great waitstaff. We were visiting Bridgehampton from New Hampshire. Almond was a recommendation from our daughters. It was a great dining experience.
Almond is a mainstay in Bridgehampton. Never disappoints. Always fun - and good food you can count on. A local treasure.
Wonderful food. Host that picked up the phone was so rude we almost didn’t come :(
We had dinner with another couple 10/3. We had dinner at Almond a few years ago and enjoyed it. Unfortunately this time we had an entirely different experience.
Food was VERY mixed. Salads, so so, ordinary. Mussels were good. Chicken liver pate, excellent. Short ribs were so bad the were sent back. Scallops were just ordinary. Steak was pretty good. The spaghetti with lobster for $36 was a disaster. The pasta tasted as if it had been sauced in dish water, no flavor whatsoever. The few pieces of lobster were soggy spongy. A disgrace. Sticky date pudding was good.
The wait staff was trying their best, but when it became crowded, they could not keep up. And the noise level, when the restaurant filled up, was din and then some. Why it was crowded, with so many bad food choices, is a mystery.
We will not be returning.
As usual, innovative cuisine, beautifully prepared. Excellent service
Food was very good with more than adequate portions, in fact i couldn't
finish mine and brought it home. staff very attentive, we even ordered a bottle of wine which was priced fairly. we will be going back!
Almond is an amazing restaurant. The innovative & inventive dishes are prepared using locally sourced products and are fresh and delicious. The staff are pleasant and helpful, yet unobtrusive. The mood is convivial and social, and the restaurant is a treat for any occasion. I highly recommend Almond.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Hamptons. I go there may times by myself and sit at the bar, and the staff there is always welcoming and friendly.
Outstanding food and wonderful service!
Full house on Friday night!
Hadn’t been in awhile
A definite go to!
