Almond - Bridgehampton
Co-founder and chef Jason Weiner creates seasonally focused ever-changing menus that are guided by a market driven ethos. We highlight our personal relationships with growers, fishermen, artisans and winemakers.
Our menus are artisanal and market driven featuring some updated takes on classic french/mediterannean cuisine, ethnic street food and lots of stuff in between.
We are obsessive about the handmade...We hang our own charcuterie, grind our own sausage, ferment our own kimchi, dry age own steaks, and smoke our own fish & bacon.
The wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines. Specialty cocktails, NY craft beers, and raw bar selections, along with the entire menu are available at the restaurant’s 15 seat bar.

Almond was a superb experience...from hospitality to food to service to ambience. Flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce and the roasted chicken dinners were excellent. And, server Nicole was outstanding-the gold standard of service.
Restaurant was comfortable and laid out well for social distancing. Had the Korean short ribs with kimchi. Also had the Korean fries which were not good. Fries were dry even when covered with kimchi and such. Oyster Chowder with 3 fried oysters was very good. The best dish I had on my 4 days in the area. Short ribs a 5 out of 10. Good but would not order again. Service was well above normal, very attentive.
Beautiful, charming outdoor seating. Delicious pork chop special, cooked to perfection, and enough for two people. Amazing seasonal dishes. Always a treat to dine at Almond Bridgehampton.
Ate outside. Great, chill vibes. Everything fresh and delicious.
Consistently the best and most friendly and delicious restaurant on the east end.The staff and service are always exceptional and make us feel right at home and go out of their way always.
Always good food and good service. Anxious to go back.
Always a wonderful experience! Food is consistently, delightfully good. Service is warm and efficient. One of our favorite restaurants!
Almond has become one of my favorite restaurants. The food is fresh, local and creatively prepared. I’m a big fan of Almond.
This restaurant is excellent ! The food is delicious and the staff is extremely attentive. The outdoor tables provide a beautiful setting. They do EVERYTHING they possibly can to make you feel Covid safe, and that is TRULY APPRECIATED!!!
Almond always makes you feel at home
Noise level bad even though tables spread part
Dishes were just poorly prepared
Steak chewy and not tasty
Carrots very hard and spices couldn’t be tasted
Pleasant staff and ambience but with a more than $200 price tag with wine, we won’t be back for dinner
Our server was wonderful and the food delicious. We were also comfortable and relaxed because the restaurant is really following Covid protocol. Personal hand sanitizer on each table, spacing and extra care of cleaning and sanitizing each table without drawing attention. Every restaurant should follow the lead- we will come here regularly because of our confidence in their safety measures. You must have proof of vaccination to protect yourself, the community and the staff who are masked, and fully vaccinated.
Wonderful relaxing meal, thank you!
Great service great food wonderful outdoor seating
Love going there for dinner
My partner and I couldn’t be more happy with our dinner at Almond. We were greeted by our host who congratulated us on our Anniversary and gave us a lovely corner table. Our server was attentive and brought us delicious meals. We were brought out a dessert with a candle to celebrate. It was a wonderful experience and we will certainly be returning. Thank you so much!!
Since we don’t drink, we ordered dinner after 5 minutes of looking at the menu. Waitress took our order and food appeared 5 minutes later. Was it pre-prepared? Partner’s scallops were very good. I ordered the NY Strip. What a mistake! The slab of meat, covered in truffle butter, was 50% fat, hard fat that I had to take it out of my mouth because I could not chew it. Waitress said this cut of meat has a fat cap and wanted to take it away. She suggested I eat from the other side which I did. It was not much better. I’m sorry I didn’t send it back. I paid $55 dollars for fat and butter.
This place is overrated and over-priced. I’ve eaten here for many years and always leave feeling ripped off!
Another fabulous meal at Almond. Never disappoints!
We really like the ambience, good service & welcoming attitude, in addition to the food. Last night, my scallops, which have been excellent & very tasty before, were tasteless, & some of our mussels were unopened & they said probably undercooked, but they nicely rectified the situation & gave us more mussels that were opened & perfectly cooked.
Delicious sticky toffee date cake with caramel sauce & ice cream! We’ll be back!
Love the restaurant food and decor. Being two indoors is not good on a Saturday night. Got placed between big parties. Very loud. Slow service and thus,no ambience. Much better on any other night of the week and definitely with a larger party. Food is always reliably good.
Amazing as always! Best food and drinks in the Hamptons. Friendly atmosphere.
Food was delicious and staff were lovely and accommodating. Outside area is very nice.
We had only one night in Long Island and after reading tons of reviews, we picked this place, travelling all the way from Amagansett. The ambiance was good however we waited longer than 45 mins for our main dishes. We cancelled the order at the end, left the place feeling tired and very sad.
Owner is amazing. Always smiling - let us pick the music one night when we got there early. Food is great - some servers are just okay.
Great. Food excellent. Great service. Friendly help.
Favorite place in our town. Wonderful spot!!
Taco Tuesday was the best!!! omg. And we felt safe eating outside watching folks on 27 drive by. It was all great. And very safe. I was surprised that they still asked for proof of vaccine even though i had a reserved outside table--but i'm GLAD they did. As a business owner it made me happy as that means they are caring for their own employees in a way that I am as well. I've gotten screamed at for requiring masks outside by some, but in the end, i'm happy to take the screams to insure that we are all as safe as possible. I'll be back now every Tuesday--the duck tacos were divine! Thank you Eric and team Almond for reminding us all how/why you have been in business for as long as you have. Bravo!
Perfect place for a date with my new beau. Warm greeting from Eric Lemonides and all of the staff. The best moules frites ever! Very lively atmosphere but also intimate. Spectacular experience!
Great vibe great food great owner great service and fun eve
Great food and service. Only downside was there was absolutely no air conditioning because all of the windows were open. So if you don’t enjoy sweating while you eat then this was not great pending the hot weather.
Overpriced - terrible food.
I sent my $ 47. Lobster paster back.
Tasteless - Cold - very little lobster meat.
Many other better options in the Hamptons for dinner.
Good service, food and kind hospitality.
We were looking for a leisurely dining experience when we booked Almond. We had eaten at the Almond restaurant in Palm Beach and were always pleased. Unfortunately this was not the case in Bridgehampton. Our reservation was for 6:00pm on a Thursday night. We were seated immediately and even more immediately were asked for our drink order. No sooner did we order the drinks, they were brought to our table and the waiter took our dinner order.Phew!!!!!! Before we had but a few sips of our drinks, and et voila! Dinner was served, They allowed us about 20 minutes for dinner and when we refused any dessert, we were presented with the check. 55 minutes in and out.
The room was extremely noisy, and on one of the hottest days of the summer the windows were open and no air conditioning !
In all Almond is not a restaurant I would recommend in all good conscience.
We've been serious fans of Almond in Bridgehampton for years, and have recommended it to so many of our friends. Everything clicks at Almond - the decor, the convivial atmosphere, the sense that so many of the people in the dining room and the beautiful outside tables have been going to Almond for as many years as my wife and I. The service has always been friendly, informative and impeccable - it's never deviated in the 25 years we've been coming for dinner.
The menu is creative, covering old favorites with new, intriguing and always delicious presentations. I also want to mention that Almond has one of the most enjoyable bars in the Hamptons..even going for a cocktail or wine is such a pleasant experience there. So, enough said - go and find out for yourselves..have a ball!
Our waitress was terrific and it was a pleasure to have her wait on us. The escargots were fabulous as our first course. Two of us ordered the Salad Nicoise for a main course and the third person ordered a salad. We were very disappointed with the Salad Nicoise. It didn't taste anything like one should.
Fantastic meal and service!
So much fun! The team at Almond always takes good care of us and the food is delicious every time.
Food always great. Locally sourced. Kimchi rice is to die for.
Great that they asked for vaccinations cards
Very friendly, great service and awesome food. I’m becoming a regular.
