In warm months, our patio is THE place for cocktails, food and fun. We love the food here. We work Alma into our plans whenever we are in town. The sweet potato/black bean flautas is one of my favorites!!

We had a wonderful meal for my husband's birthday! My youngest son usually orders a burger anywhere we go, and he tried a cheese and beef quesadilla tonight. He loved it! My shrimp fajitas were fantastic as was the guac. My husband loved his fish tacos too. Great margarita too. We were well taken care of by the fantastic staff with regular drink refills and chips too. Sitting outside was perfect. It was a truly great experience!

Our initial waitress (and then eventually waiter) were friendly, cordial, and helpful. They guided us to an alternate sampler lunch choice (street tacos) that were flavorful and delicious. The blood orange mimosas accompanying the meal were also very good. However, there was a family with a small loud child which interrupted the busy lunch crowd. They were able to get them settled and the remainder of the meal conversation was great. For somewhere friendly, unique, and different, I would recommend trying Alma Mexicana.

Hadn't been to Alma in a while. We went to sit out on the patio and eat/drink while watching the cycling races in Winston. Atmosphere was great - chill and relaxing. The food was just outstanding. The Paloma margarita pitcher was so good and a great value. Everything was so yum. But the absolute best part was our server - she was so attentive and kind. The patio host was great, too. She checked on our experience, and made the rounds with every table. Just an overall A++ experience. I'll be back for sure!

It was graduation day and the place was full but the staff manage to give a good service and the food was very good. We had an enjoyable time. Thanks

The food was adequate, though not outstanding. We had chips and salsa, fajitas, and the shrimp bowl. The portions are decent, but compared to other Mexican/latin restaurants we’ve been to around the country. Overpriced. Our server was very pleasant.
