Alma’s Bistro is a terrific find in Norwalk right next to the Wall Street Theatre. The food is fresh, colorful, well presented and absolutely delicious. The service is excellent and Alma is always walking around making sure things are going well. The ambience is charming with soft lighting, plants and lovely like green and white decor. I highly recommend Alma Bistro.

Everything was close to excellent. The one thing we had a problem with was the rice with beans. One of the people in our party had a food sensitivity to plantains, and there were plantains in the rice with beans, which was unexpected. But we told the waitress, and she told the manager, who apologized.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and will be back again for sure. Friendly service and delicious food. Highlight was the tuna tostada, plantains, and chimmichurri steak. Highly recommend!!!!!

We enjoyed everything we had. The guacamole was excellent. Our entrees were well portioned and tasty. The churros nicely topped off the meal. The service was very good. I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful restaurant with exceptional food. Drinks are also excellent. Staff is attentive and courteous and the owner checks in with each table to ensure you are enjoying your meal. Alma’s is a winner!

We were absolutely thrilled with our whole experience. The staff was excellent. Every question was answered, service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was fabulous. We opted to do appetizers instead of a meal to savor many different flavors. The shrimp ceviche was fresh and full of flavor, salmon was perfect, the beef was tender. The whole meal made our mouths dance! The owner stopped at every table and made us feel welcome and appreciated

This is a great little addition to the local food scene. The food is delicious and the place has a small-town vibe, with the owner greeting diners and the staff being local. Fun for cocktails, apps and dinner. Nice drinks too.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this new gem in Norwalk. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Alma, who came by the table to say hello was lovely. The food? Amazing! We were with friends and ordered many of the small plates. OUTSTANDING! There was not one we didn’t enjoy. The tuna tostados, coconut shrimp, pinchos, beef empanadas and dessert (churros and coconut flan) ….WOW! . we cannot wait to go back! Bravo, Alma Bistro!

Went on a Sunday afternoon.. menu choice was varies as to items and price so we could choose accordingly… guacamole was fantastic.. fish tacos small but perfect for a late lunch.. the half chicken dinner was really good. Our server was pleasant and helpful.. I am definitely returning !

Everything was terrific. Alma, the owner, came to the table herself. She was super nice and accommodating. A few hard to deal with allergies, were accommodated without any problems. Will recommend and go back. Thanks Alma!

You MUST try the coconut shrimp and fried artichokes, they were delicious! The tres leches cake is also a must for dessert. Can't wait to come back here, Alma's (and Alma herself!) was great.

This was the third delicious and pleasant meal at Alma. We love the food and the ambience. Everything tastes very fresh and flavorful. Alma is a warm and welcoming host and everyone is friendly and helpful. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent. We highly recommend the tuna tostada, the yummy artichokes and especially the recent fried snapper special.

This place is a gem; the food and drinks are delicious; the ambiance is superb; and the staff is accommodating and helpful. Though we had to change the number in our party a few times, I simply called them and they were very helpful in accommodating AND gave us a superb table! I highly recommend Alma Bistro and have eaten there five times since they opened.

Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious. This was my fourth time dining at Alma. The food continues to be consistently good, the menu changes to add exciting new specials and seasonal items and the service is fantastic.

If your reading this then absolutely go here! Was looking for a place near the Wall Street Theater for dinner before a show and this place far exceeded my expectations. Staff was very attentive and courteous and food was made fast and delicious! We went the tapas route and ordered multiple small plates and each one was enough to split four ways and was flavorful and fresh. Would definitely dine here again when in the area!!

Fabulous meal at Alma Bistro - tapas are excellent, drinks (Pisco Sour and Caiparinha) were excellent, and service was friendly and responsive. The place was packed even though it was a wednesday night so the bar was a little slow, but it all worked out fine. There was live music also - a nine string guitar which I did not know existed - and the song choices were eclectic and fun, the music was a great addition without being overpowering like live music up close can sometimes be.

We have now been to Alma twice. Wonderful experience. Friendly servers, fun atmosphere and really delicious food. Especially love the tuna tostada, the super fresh guacamole, and the artichoke. Tapas style small plates and excellent cocktails makes for a convivial meal.

This is my 3rd visit to the restaurant and I am impressed with the friendly service and the good food. One of my visits was on a Saturday night and they definitely need more help but for lunch during the week, it has been just great. The food is all creative and small batch. They squeeze fresh fruit for the drinks and have imaginative drinks also. The tuna tartare is so good.. really above and beyond what I have had in numerous times in the past elsewhere. The fried artichokes were so good also and the empanadas were excellent. Churros are usually doughy and kind of blah but I did enjoy the ones here made with chocolate and dulce de leche to dip into. Lovely spot.
