   Food ok but overpriced but we wouldn't recommend this restaurant because it adds a 'discretionary' 12.5% service charge. As a customer, you have two choices: either pay this additional tax on an already overpriced meal, or ask the server to remove it, this putting yourself in an embarrassing situation. In our case, a member of staff was defensive about the charge and we were left feeling certain that we will never be visiting this restaurant again. We wonder whether the amount of money that the restaurant staff gain through this tax offsets the lost revenue from the customers who never return because of it. For the record, the service was ok and we would have left a tip had we not been forced into this situation.

   A poor and disappointing experience overall. It was supposed to be a lovely birthday meal which we had planned by checking their menu on their website only to find out when we got there was a different menu on the night. We were given no reasonable explanation as to why the menu was different only that the website was not updated. I have recently checked their website and it is still showing the same old menu. the service was slow despite the restaurant not being full, and when I asked the waiter if he could ask the chef to prepare a small side order from the original menu I was not told till half an hour later by another waitress that he could not do that.

   So when we order the server says sorry we have no USDA beef so we order Wagyu. After some time the server comes to our table and says our champagne is covered by a special offer - going to be 20 pounds for two. After five minutes the server comes back to say sorry we don't have Moët - so why did you tell us about the special offer? After some time the server comes back saying sorry we don't have any Wagyu rump steak. All this in a steakhouse!

   had a nice meal at Allie's Marriott Heathrow, service was excellent as was the food enjoyed the Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce instead of bread very nice meal - tasty
