Welcome to Allelo
Located on Beach Drive in downtown St. Petersburg, just steps from The Pier, Allelo is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant rooted in the spirit of gathering. Our name comes from allelomimesis — the phenomenon of individuals coming together, like birds flocking in flight.

Our menu celebrates the flavors of the Mediterranean and Italian coasts, featuring fresh seafood, amazing oysters, and housemade pastas — all designed for sharing.

We offer an intimate dining room for smaller groups. Parties of 6 or more are typically seated outdoors, where we provide heaters and blankets, though we recommend dressing for cooler evenings.

Guests are welcome to bring their own wine ($25 corkage per 750ml, max 3 bottles), or explore our wine list of 500+ selections curated by our in-house sommelier.

Considering it is Pride weekend, we expected a huge crowd and a rushed, noisy, restaurant. Allelo was just the opposite this evening, laid back, nice, slow with delicious food. The birthday person ordered rack of lamb and it was perfectly cooked, and as delicious as it looked. Three of us ordered shared plates, each plate as yummy as it looked and all three of us agreed the asparagus stole the show or was it the smashed potatoes or the meatballs? Excellent service from Bishop topped off the meal and although this was not our first time here, we cannot wait to come back.

We had such a great time sitting at the bar tables! The vibe was just perfect. Our waitress was super attentive and offered some fantastic recommendations. We opted for the family brunch, which includes six yummy tapas plates to share. Everything was delicious, and honestly, we couldn't finish it all!

Such a lovely experience. The hostess was so kind and accommodating when we decided to move inside. The waitress was SO nice and attentive and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back and recommend to others.

I took my significant other to dinner, to celebrate fathers day And as expected the food was as always, phenomenal He ordered the pork chop which was absolutely amazing and I ordered the surf and turp, the stake could melt in my mouth It’s one of my favorite places, keep up the good work!!!!! Our waiter was fabulous, he took his time to explain all the entrees and the drinks to us.
