What a lovely experience! The surroundings are tastefully designed & very comfortable & the food was very enjoyable. We were there at lunchtime & the restaurant was quite quiet, allowing the waiting staff to be attentive & helpful. The lunchtime menu was exceptional value & we will most definitely be back.

We go out to Allegria a couple of times of month. The food has always been good but we have noticed recently that prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The pizza dough seems to have changed and the quality of the pizza is not as good as it used to be. My better half always goes for the Manzo Salad (which has jumped in price by 50%) but the quantity and quality has dropped. The steak in the salad was chewy, unseasoned and lacking in flavour. Let’s hope this isn’t a trend as Largs needs good quality restaurants.

Normally I am very happy with the service in Allegria, but not today. We had to wait just short of an hour for our meal. The reason given was that me companion had ordered lamb chops, but I simply do not buy this. The waitress was pleasant but the wait was unacceptable.

Good food at good prices. Excellent service with staff helping to create a friendly atmosphere. Our only complaint was the volume of the “background” music. Maybe ok for the younger element, but as one’s hearing abilities reduce with age, especially so when having to compete with background noises (such as the sound of a kettle working) it becomes hard to hold a relaxed conversation over one’s meal when the background music isn’t background but foreground. Still, nearly top marks for our experience. Thank you.

A fantastic meal for our wedding anniversary. Friendly attentive staff and the food was delicious. The tomato sauce on the Gamberini was perfect. Just the right amount of chillis in it for me. Thanks, well be back soon!!

The food was lovely as were the staff. The only complaint I would have was the staff crammed all the clientèle into one section of the restaurant resulting each table being in very close proximity to one another despite there being loads of empty tables at the other side of the restaurant.

As always, a lovely meal in pleasant surroundings. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating, they paid particular attention to our friends two-year-old daughter who was made more than welcome and accommodated for being given crayons to keep her entertained.

Good food in a clearly popular restaurant right on Largs seafront close to the centre. An extensive menu reasonably priced. Very friendly and attentive service without being intrusive. We'll be back.

The food and service were excellent as usual. I was disappointed that the only white or rose wines by the glass were Pinot Grigio and no other choice. I really dislike Pinot Grigio. Otherwise no complaints at all. Thank you

Good food and cosy welcoming environment. When my vegan friend asked for a cup of tea a staff member popped out to get some plant milk so she could have her tea rather than say we don’t have any. So great customer service too.

Asked for 5 mins to look at menu was told no as kitchen was due to close , when ordering differant starters was told not available, just had main course which during staff started to clean around us and were just waiting to leave was made to feel uncomfortable and basically they were in a hurry to get us out
