   Excellent as usual! This is our go-to spot every other month. The food is always excellent, and even though we intend to try something new on the menu, we always wind-up ordering the same dishes each time (bratwurst, schnitzel, and Warsteiner beers). The service is always good, casual, respectful not trying to rush people out the door but to savor the meal (they've been there for years). It can be quite noisy inside with the small space and acoustics of the restaurant. We've sat inside and out and find that sitting outside is nice is you want a quiet dinner (it's covered, and they have fans and heaters, if needed). We'll be back again soon!

   Our reservation was 20 minutes late & when we were finally seated our server basically grilled us as to “what could they have done better”. When we explained that we live here full time & felt like we were treated unprofessionally & they need to manage their reservations better. “Well we can’t control how long our customers stay” was the explanation. & we literally had to just look away so she would stop questioning us. The noise level bordered on unbearable. It was so loud we could barely hear each other speak. We’ve been customers here many times & have never had such a miserable experience. We will not return. When Alfred’s is dying for customers in the winter months & depend on locals like us, good luck. We will be making sure our community is aware of our experience, & also we ran into friends from our community & they were appalled at the noise level as well. They will not be returning either.

   Excellent service from Trent. Excellent food as always. We mentioned that it was our 50th anniversary dinner on Open table website and thought maybe someone might have said something or treated us w small dessert? Not as personable as in years past. We've been dining here 3x year since they opened 2020. A little disappointed.

   As always, everything was top-notch. Since moving here, we have dined at the restaurant fairly often. We also often order pierogi for holidays, which are delicious. This is a not-to-be-missed dining opportunity.

   As always, the food and service was impeccable. Chef Jorge takes great pride in his dishes and it shows. Our waitress Katherine delivers outstanding service. We have had her multiple times and although we travel to Hilton Head twice a year, she still remembers us each time.

   Food was great! Very authentic and portions were huge. Great service on top of that and reasonable prices.

   The service, ambience ,location and especially most importantly the food is exceptional. Always! Our last visit we ordered a Caesar salad, grilled sea bass, and filet of beef - perfection! Most impressive presentation as always cooked perfectly ! Do not hesitate ! The menu is diverse the wine list excellent. Just do it! And get the mushroom soup - best I’ve ever had!!!

    My friend and I had a superb dinner at Alfred’s on 04/30/2025. The service was excellent. The ambience was charming and the food was just outstanding. We’re lucky to have a restaurant on Hilton Head Island of this quality. Thanks again for a great evening.
