   No one in our party of 4 adults thought the food was better than average. The service was spotty and they weren't busy that night. The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. One in our party was familiar with the now closed LaJolla location where the decor was dumpy but the food was better.

   This was our first time dining since they moved from La Jolla. Service was excellent, however the food was mediocre at best. There were 5 of us who felt the same regarding food. Nice location and bar!! W ill return for drinks only.

   The owner was a very nice man who greeted us upon arrival and walked us to our table. We reserved a spot outside and it was set up and ready for us upon arrival. Chips and salsa arrived shortly after. The waitress was very nice, but after saying we needed more time before ordering, she didn’t come back. We had to go and find someone to help us so we could order and eventually a different waitress took our order. Besides that, everything was top notch. Pleasant atmosphere, incredible food, great tasting drinks...highly recommend!

   Food was good, but not spectacular. Both the fish and shrimp tacos were so runny with a thin sauce, that they were hard to eat. Topping had good flavor, but overpowered the taste of both the shrimp and the fish. Salad, rice, and beans where also good, but nothing special. The margaritas were excellent. The service was above average.

   Greeted by name upon arrival by very professional, friendly staff. Could easily talk amongst ourselves during the entire meal. Food was freshly made and outstanding. Everything is very clean.

   There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meals. I especially liked the Carne Asada plate. Having had it often when the restaurant was in La Jolla, I found it not as spicy as I was used to but the meat was done just right . It was a pleasant evening and we sat outside. We look forward to returning.

    There aren't many restaurants where the owner comes by to check on his guests. Alphonso is there folks and he care. A really sweet guy. The musicians are not really Mariachi but the two guys are great and play in the Mariachi style. Great place for big groups. Our table (s) for 10 was great.
