Such a fantastic fine dining experience. Would highly recommend to those seeking a very fine and fancy night out!
New York strip chewy, prim rib chewy.
Below standard service. Filthy restroom, none operated toilet and faucet. Our time and money... Wasted.
It’s always a pleasure I don’t even mind the crazy expense. Service, food and seating is exceptional.
The food and service was excellent
The food it’s really good ..they take their time to properly cook the steaks , this is one of the best steaks I’ve had ..really juicy and tasty ..the butter and fresh chives give it and extra taste ..service it’s good ..they never un attend you .the bites they keep passing on (food samples) are really good..the mayor reason I give this place a 5 start it’s the food quality and the manager service ! I really liked the way he gets on the floor and comes to you to make sure everything it’s right ..definitely recommend this place and I’m coming back for more of that juicy steak.
Such an amazing experience. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive and the food was AMAZING! Definitely worth the hype.
The entire staff (especially our server) were very attentive and professional. They did not rush us at all, which I loved! The drinks were amazing. We did not choose our drinks from the menu… We told our server what we usually drink, and he brought us spot on drinks! We had organic greens salad and a T-bone steak. Both were fantastic. We had White chocolate panakota for dessert. We did not care for it… It was a bit heavy for our taste. We also had some (on the house) pre and post dessert (Cotton candy and something else). Great experience! Definitely five stars!
Nick was our server, he was excellent. Music is needed
Amazing service and great food. They always aim for the “something extra” with the service
Awesome all around considering the current pandemic situation... service was on point! We celebrated 2 b-days in 1 evening. Was at the restaurant for 4 hours; not sure how that happened.... Thanks for taking great care of us.
The service was excellent and some of the sides were good, but the Jorge ribeye was disappointing. Too much fat and too bland.
Fabulous place to celebrate a great evening! The entire team does a meticulous job in COVID timesto keep everyone safe while having a blast! Excellent food, cocktails and ambiance.
Perhaps the best steakhouse I've been to. The service was impeccable. Looking forward to our next visit soon.
We came to celebrate my dad's 75th birthday there, because we expected that this level of a restaurant will make this experience special. The service was really underwhelming - slow to order, no updates on the delays or why delays, hard to get attention of the waiter. We ended up spending over 3 hours at the restaurant and not because we just couldn't get enough of it - because every step was extra, extra, extra slow. We felt like an afterthought. I don't know if what caused this were our accents (we are a multicultural family) and presumption that we won't tip (though both me and my husband paid for schools and our doctorates by waiting tables/bartending, so are generous tippers), or this was an off-night. Food was not particularly impressive either, though my dad liked his filet mignon and the appetizers we got were pretty good. The prime-rib, black cod, and duck breast that others ordered were underwhelming. Bottom line, I regretted choosing Alexander's as the restaurant to celebrate my dad's birthday and, also, as the first restaurant we went out to sine March, because of the pandemic.
I do want to note that COVID-wise, there seemed to be a lot of precautions taken by the restaurant and the staff. That we appreciated.
Ambiance was great, can hear Conversation.
Stick was undercooked, as well as my partners.
Waiter was attentive, but busboy or not. Bread, water, and drinks were missed.
Always a favorite, our recent experience did not disappoint us. The patio area was lovely and the tables were spaced well. It created a lovely environment for our anniversary. Though we were outside, It felt intimate. Expect to pay a hefty price for fine dining there.
Love the oit door seating by the water fountain. Beautiful lighting and atmosphere.
Amazing Steak, delicious drinks, wonderful service. I could not recommend any more. Definitely plan on returning soon!
The excellent statehouse with a variety of menu choices and great presentations. The ambience is very good. The waiter is friendly.
amazing place to gather
The outdoor seating arrangement they have for covid is actually nice and definitely situated 6 feet apart. I only mention this because I’ve seen some outdoor dining situations where it definitely doesn’t seem like 6 feet apart, but it does
Amazing quality! Our waiter was a 10 star . He made our experience and birthday celebration AMAZING! Pricey BUT worth every dollar !!!
We got the New York strip steak, A5 Japanese wagyu, and a filet migon as our steaks. The filet migon was good but the New York strip steak was poorly cut With the tendons still there and when we asked for a medium rare one they gave us a rare steak we couldn’t stand it so we decided to just pack it away. Next up is the wagyu, it was over 100 dollars and they gave us a very small piece of the wagyu that was only just fat, with barely any meat in it. This was a disappointing dinner.
They have a nice patio setting. Service was great. The food overall was good and taste, everything was a la carte.
Celebrated our 14 year anniversary with my wife. The chef’s menu and wine pairings were amazing. Would strongly recommend.
Awesome dinner and drinks
Great food and impeccable service. Will definitely be back.
One of the best meals we’ve ever had! The staff at Alexander’s is so personable and made it such a special evening as we celebrated our anniversary. Highly recommend!!
One of the best nights and most amazing food. Server Ryan was wonderful and would recommend this place for a beautiful delicious steak dinner.
Overall fantastic food! But as you would expect from a fine dining steakhouse, portions are somewhat small. Food, however, was great. No complaints. We went during Dine LA and my favorite was the pork belly.
I went early to beat the Friday night rush. I was beyond pleased with the service!! I did not feel rushed. I did the dine LA menu but I will be back!!! Top notched on every level!
It was great!
Ordered a bunch of food. The A5 Wagyu was excellent. Rib Eye Steak was overdone and had a burnt taste. Our waiter was super awesome. Would not frequent because the quality of the steak is not worth the price. We were seated outside due to COVID and thought that the patrons were very noisy. We were seated next to a burner and it smelled like propane.
Birthday dinner celebration was excellent
The only thing there were a lot of flys around when the food came out, other than that everything was amazing!!
never disappointed, food and drinks are of quality, only thing is I asked for more bread and it never came, waiters are always attentive.
We ordered the dine l.a. menu. The food was okay. The hamachi shot was flavorful but a bit too salty. The lobster was interesting but the taste of daikon overtook that of the lobster. The braised pork belly was the course that we disliked the most. Even though the sauce itself was good, the 24-hr slow-cooked pork belly was too dry. The duck breast was the best dish of the whole menu. The filet mignon/wagyu and the strawberry mousse were just above average.
The service was fair to okay. The waiters were nice. However, weirdly, the waiter took away one of the person's small plate with butter knife for the complementary bread before the first course but somehow they kept the plates with butter knife for the rest of the group on our table for 3 courses without asking anything nor refilling the bread. The waiting time for the filet mignon and the strawberry mousse were too long. Also, when we complained that the pork belly was too dry, the waiter only said "interesting" without further actions. Given that they knew there was a wildfire nearby with ash kept falling onto the table, it would be appreciated if they could take this into consideration and change the way they place the tableware (instead of just putting it on the table with the ashes).
the service was impeccable, knowledgeable and entertaining I loved our server and all the back up staff, they could not have been any better. Absolutely on point and amazing.
the food was ok, not the best. I had the prime rib- nothing to write home about
the mashed potatoes were good the mushrooms were good but not stellar that night.
I think this is just a covid issue, we all need time to get it together and usually this place has it together, i have dined here several times and every time they have been stellar.
I think I ll wait to go back once this covid stupidity is over. I know it will be impeccable
Thank you for the amazing time, service and experiance.
Fantastic food and awesome service! Perfect place for a special dinner if you can handle the prices.
