After the reboot and new chef, the food is even better imho and the prices are a bit friendlier. It's still a standout in SC county!

We had been to Alderwood a number of years ago and had a good experience, but the dinner we had last night was amazing. Every dish exceeded our expectations, can’t wait to come back!

I wont be going back. $12 a oz. for a New York steak that is cut in two pieces and covered in a thin brown sauce is crazy expensive. Especially when they had Ribeye the night before for the same price. I should have known better. Everything else was good. I just can’t get over the price for what was received. I had high hopes but was very disappointed.

Always a pleasure dining here! Staff is super friendly, and food is bar none some of the best in Santa Cruz. Looking forward to my next evening here.

Avoid the squash vegetarian dish. Apparently it’s dehydrated and rehydrated several times to get a different consistency but it’s more of a leathery texture and difficult to eat. The rest of the menu was very limited and overpriced in our opinion. The restaurant ambiance was nice and staff attentive but we would not go back.

Love the new experience at Alderwood with the new chef! Definitely an improvement on many levels. My favorite items on the menu were the Kampachi, the Santa Cruz greens, and the creamed corn! Omgggg. I could eat those three things forever. Music was a bit too loud, but service was excellent, and drinks were incredible!
