   Overall a very enjoyable experience. Don't let the fact that the restaurant is inside of a casino stop you from enjoying a very good meal. It is a little pricey, so I wouldn't go there every day, but it it an outstanding place to go for a special occasion

   Excellent meal. Pork chop was perfectly cooked and wonderfully flavored. Salad was large enough to split with huge shrimp in it. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Overall a fantastic meal and well worth the trip to Kenner!

   The brunch was really delicious!! The manager was friendly, the host was also very friendly!! But the highlight of the meal was the server Zack! He was very attentive, made sure we always had drinks filled and overall with amazing attitude!! We will ask for him all the time!

   The service was great, and the accommodations were good. The food was lacking in taste and way it was prepared. Our table hat to send Grilled oyster back because they were raw. The steaks were decent, but they were burnt excessively at the tips.

   The best thing i can say is the whole experience was so much better than we expected. From the time we walked in from when we exited. The host, servers and the food was so exceptional, we will surely be dining here again.

   Another lovely experience at Alder & Birch. It is becoming a weekly staple for us as we have pretty much found it as our go-to Saturday date night outing! Darlene is always wonderful, as is Zac. Both of them make the dining experience delightful. The beef medallions are my new favorite and a house specialty. Cooked to perfection! If you walk in and Zac's working the bar, he makes really wonderful drinks. Some bartenders just have a great talent, and Zac is one of them. Did I ever mention dessert? The praline cheesecake is scrumptious. I cannot wait for Saturday!

   The food was good, a little pricey if you had to pay out of pocket. But, we had comps so it was definitely worth what we paid LOL. But honestly the food was good, the service was excellent and we will be back. To elaborate on the food, the 22 ounce ribeye was really good. The shrimp scampi was ok, the shrimp could have used a little more flavoring, it was a little too *shrimpy" tasting, if that makes any sense to you. The pasta and butter sauce was really really good. The brocollini was good, but a little chewy. Had to cut it in small bites to avoid the chewiness. The roasted asparagus, charred oysters and the gumbo was perfect! Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   I have read a lot of comments about A&B being a bit pricey. Yes, it is, but then, you have to consider the ambience, level of service and the presentation of your food. The wife and I feel it is excellent and since we often have a doggy bag, we end up with two meals, so it is quite equitable. I typically get a filet which I find is excellent. I've had the other steaks and aside from the Delmonico, find them all to be a great cut. The Delmonico, to me, is just a bad cut. If you have not tried the beef medallions, give them a shot. Darlene, our favorite server by far, made the recommendation to me and she was right! They are excellent. The combination of the crab meat and the mushrooms mixed in with the mashed potatoes were out of this world. Even re-heated two days later I was ready to go back!!

    My wife and I go to Alder and Birch often and thoroughly enjoy the quality of food and the excellent service. This was no exception. We had a wonderful meal. Zac was excellent and added to the evening. We look forward to our next visit.
