The shrimp scampi had far too much lemon and the fettuccini Alfredo was too salty and did not taste like Alfredo sauce however the seared tilapia was excellent but the antipasti left much to be desired

Great value great restaurant!!

Food was very good and the Italian nachos were very interesting and good. My shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta was very good but for me had too much Parmesan cheese on it. I wish they had asked me at the table how much I wanted. The fettuccine Alfredo with Italian sausage was just fair my guest said. My other guest thought that’s what she was getting but it ended up with red sauce but she enjoyed it. It was a nice evening, very cold in the restaurant due to the frigid temperatures outside partially but they had lots of customers. It was a pleasant evening.

Great place and the food was really good. Had a minor mistake with one of the meals but the server and owner made it right. This place reminded me of an Italian restaurant I went to in Boston.

None of the kitchen staff wore masks. Our waitress was more interested in flirting with one of the cooks than waiting on us. It wasn’t busy as it was just 2 couples in there including us. All of the wait staff sat at the bar and chatted. Wasn’t impressed.

Great all around experience. Hassan is the best host each time we visit as well. Thanks for bringing a great dining experience to Wichita.

We celebrated our anniversary with our first visit to Albero Cafe, and we will be back. Portion size is generous for the price, food quality is good, and our waiter was excellent.

FABULOUS! We found the Albero Cafe after sampling some of their items at the Wichita Women's Fair and made a reservation. We choose the Italian Nachos for an appetizer and it was OUTSTANDING! Fresh, very flavorful and crunchy! The three of us all chose different dishes so we could sample, and there were no disappointments. We did decide to splurge on their Tiramisu for dessert and again, FABULOUS! We will be back next time we're in Wichita!

There was some confusion with the hostess who claimed she couldn’t find my reservation when I booked on open table and just seemed completely off altogether besides that the food was wonderful. Would highly recommend

We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day and they were fully prepared for the occasion. The hostess was very personable and friendly which set the tone for a fantastic visit. I was shockingly pleased at the reasonable cost of the food and the wine. The seared tilapia is highly recommended.

The service was really good. The food was good not anything spectacular. The money spent was worth the quality and amount of food. I would return just not rushing to.

One person had a burger which was delicious. The pork tenderloin served with a butter/garlic sauce is also very good. A wheat bread was served which we enjoyed. Wine prices by the bottle are very reasonable.

We went for dinner on Saturday shortly after it opened. Our server did a good job but appeared to be new and not very knowledgeable about the food. She did not ask about our Open table reservation but seated us quickly. The calamari appetizer was amazing. It was very tender and not at all rubbery. Both my wife and I had pasta dishes with Italian sausage that were delicious at the restaurant and the following day for lunch. As many have pointed out the tables are small and can barely fit food and drinks on. also got a little loud as the restaurant filled up. We were both impressed that the owner stopped by twice to check on use and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

Always consistent good food and service. Best Italian in Wichita.

Very good food with generous portions. Relatively small restaurant; hence, the tables are very small in order to accommodate enough diners. In our case, we had four adults and when the food arrived with our beverages, the table couldn't accommodate everything. Also, with respect to ambiance, a turn-off is that the kitchen is located right off the dining area, with little or no separation between the two.

Albero is a charm in the middle of the city. The food was excellent and the portions were the proper amount. Service was very good.

Pacing of the meal was very poor. Soup was tepid and bolognese was ok, but pasta was tasteless. Can’t understand the 4.8 rating other than to say the people in Wichita have little experience with really good Italian cooking.

This restaurant has become a favorite. The owner is a hardworking, personable gentleman who consistently puts out great Italian/Mediterranean food. Highly recommended.

absolutely terrific food. subtle seasoning, never overpowering. I've been their twice and loved it both times. not fancy, just great food.

We had a large (15) group reservation. They scrambled to accommodate us as they were completely swamped when we showed up. They took amazing care of our table. Food came out in a very timely fashion, and tasted superb!! Highly recommend!
