We ate here twice - night one we had the lobster roll and crab poppers and second night we tried the seafood chowder and the salmon chowder. We had read that they had one of the best chowders in Anchorage. The ambience is exceptional and it was very quiet where we were seated but I think the other side of the restaurant might be louder. We had a great server (same one both nights) - I should have paid more attention to her name - but she was great! I would go back again! The lobster roll was excellent and the chowder was definitely great!

We made reservations and it was good that we did. By the time we left, there was a line in the lobby. Halibut fish and chips, butter poached halibut with fettuccini, and seafood chowder were all excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. Server’s recommendations were spot on. Crème brulee cheesecake was very good.

Food was delicious. Booth we were offered was rather tight for six adults. Our waiter, Carmichael was helpful and attentive.

A fun & friendly atmosphere. After just returning from traveling we couldn’t help but notice the prices are higher than average yet atmosphere screams casual dining. Wine list is especially priced high. An early hour discounted price list would be a great option for budget minded or seniors. Like 4:30-5:30! Food was very good. But again it’s simple items so prices seemed high.

Wife got coconut shrimp and enjoyed it. I got Parmesan encrusted chicken and it was good. Kinda expensive in my opinion but it is popular in this town. So, must be worth it

This was our first time at Alaska Chopped & Chowdered. We were initially impressed with the ambiance and the service. My friend had the chowder flight and rated it. “excellent.” I I ordered the jalapeño burger, medium rare. Although French fries were very good, the hamburger bun was fresh and the add ons, yummy, the meat, unfortunately, arrived very, very well done, which meant I could not give my lunch a higher rating.
