   Can never go wrong with dinner specials! The sea bass is to die for as well as deserts. Wine by glass 50% overpriced but you don’t go to Al’s on a budget. Love it.

   My wife had the Lobster tail and she was very happy! I had the Cowboy ribeye and I loved it! Andrew was our server and he was quick when needed and gave us space to talk to each other. Best thing he suggested was the Banana Bread pudding that isn't on the menu. It was to die for. Please enjoy! We are back in just a couple of weeks!

   Absolutely love coming here for business meals. Service is outstanding and the food is always stunning. Our waiter last night was just wonderful. Everybody that we bring here goes on and on about how much they love it. Thank you as always for accommodating last minute requests in booking, too. We often have folks that can't join last minute and Al Biernat's is entirely gracious every single time.

   My husband and I had a wonderful night at Al to celebrate my birthday. This is our first time coming here. The ambiance is elegant and cozy. The servers were great with good manner. We love the manager lames Gee who came to our table twice to make sure our food was good and service was exceptional. I wanted to order Chilean sea bass but my friend told me this is the best steak house in town, so I had my medium rare ribeye steak. It was well prepared and juicy. We will come back for our next celebrations for sure. (Sorry my phone didn't have good resolution, the food looks and tastes way better in person).

    Our first time at this location since it's been re-imagined & re-opened as Al Biernat's North! Absolutely LOVE the new layout & design! We sat in one of the banquettes in the bar. Our bartender was also our waiter, and was very attentive - the service was great. The breadbasket was chock full of favorites, and the frittata was excellent! We will be back in a few days to celebrate my birthday, and look forward to service in the main dining room by a long-time industry friend John B. I especially appreciated the "nod" to Bush in the redesign. Bush was one of the long-time waiters when this location was the original Del Friscos. I have a bit of history with this location, as I'm a musician and used to play in Havana Dee's (the Del's cigar lounge) back in 2005 (prior to the no-smoking ordinance in Dallas). The last 2 years as Del's, I was the Thursday night entertainer at the piano. So I am thrilled to see what has been done, and to experience the new Al's that's much closer to home! We look forward to many visits!

    I was disappointed to see how men especially were dressed. We were there in prime time and a least of half of the men were dressed in jeans and beaten up ropers or shorts and hoodies The food was good but not great and it looks like we have to find a new special occasion

    This was our first time there. We wanted to try everything on the menu. If we had, I truly believe we would’ve loved all of it. We did order three appetizers, which were all incredible. The beef, Wellington, the escargot, and the seafood sampler. Could not ask for better appetizers. And then I ordered the Japanese halibut and my husband ordered the 12 ounce fillet Oscar style. Everything came out to perfection. I have never had such an amazing flavored halibut with a fresh pickled salad on top. And the fillet was juicy and tender, and the sauce and crab meat from the Oscar style was the best we have ever had. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

    It was a experience I will never forget. It was simply amazing I started off with the Crabcakes. They were so good, words do not do them justice. I also tried the Tomahawk Steak. It was definitely the best steak I've had in my lifetime. Tasty, and cooked to perfection. The added bonus was Steph. She made the experience an culinary event for the ages. Also, the manager James G visited our table and made us feel as if we were long standing clients even though it was our first time at this location. I definitely give Al Biernat's two thumbs up.

    Steaks are great, as was the 12oz Lobster Tail. Shrimp Cocktail and Crabcakes were underwhelming. Asparagus was a sad state of affairs —limp, wilted, greasy and cold. Mushrooms were good but cold. Bread variety was very good. Valet excellent. Hostess did not greet or welcome us, just seated us. Server okay, maybe they were understaffed. Maître d’ never made his rounds to check on our table. I gave the food five stars for the steaks and Lobster but yeah it would’ve been nice if everything else was equally as good. I have learned to reset my expectations, post-pandemic.

    I’ve been here a ton of times. Service is usually superb; however, our waiter Josh seem to provide really slow service. Examples…waited 15 minutes just for waters once we were sat. Waited 40 minutes for drinks. Had to request bread. Food was phenomenal and came out pretty fast once we were given the opportunity to order.

    Our experience at Al’s was not up to their usual standard. It took an inordinate amount of time to get our first round of drinks, and when they arrived, the martinis were barely cool. We had to ask for ice to add to what should have been served cold. The food was excellent, as usual, but our table service was not what we expect at Al’s. I was disappointed. This is the first time we’ve ever been disappointed at Al’s.

    Food was good, always good! Will give a second thought bringing a client. Of all the times we've been this time it was uncomfortably warm to the point I was expecting our waitress to mention something about a unit being down. The meal was with clients and they didn't comment yet could see beads of sweat on their foreheads. The ice in our water glasses melted at fast enough pace we couldn't keep up to try and cool down.

    Four of us ladies were celebrating our May birthdays. We could not ask for a more accommodating waitress. She was wonderful! Our lunches were excellent and the management gave each of us our choice of celebratory desserts. We really appreciated the extra treatment and enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience.     Staff were completely attentive and friendly when we needed. Every dish was delicious: raw oysters, shrimp cocktail, goat cheese salad, prime steak, lamb chops, baked potatoes. Sommelier helped us pick wines & would offer tastes until we said that’s the one. Birthday dessert (we chose crème brûlée) with candle. We’ve dined at top restaurants in the US, in Europe, and in Brazil. We highly recommend Al Biernat’s in North Dallas.

    It wasn’t a good one. We were seated in this secluded and gloomy area, while the rest of the restaurant seem to enjoy a much nicer ambiance. But we weren’t the only ones there so we endured. We didn’t get offered freshly ground pepper with our salads as all the other guest who had salad, did. (No big deal) Calamari appetizer seemed to have been cooked in old grease. We hadn’t been there before so we weren’t sure if this was the norm or not. (Still no complaint) Ordered a filet mignon medium well, but it came well done, so the flavor was lost. Steak had zero taste. (We still didn’t complain) Ordered a fully loaded baked potato and it was not fresh or hot. It was literally cold. (The last straw!) We finally complained to our server, and got a fresh one to go, but the experience was ruined by then. We tried to make the best of a bad experience but we couldn’t. And I was not once offered a refill on my tea! Not once! Not sure how much of this was done on purpose, but we paid $200 for a bland steak, old calamari, a cold baked potato, in what seemed to be the “Time Out” area! I usually give a restaurant a couple of chances, but not at those prices. MOTHER’S DAY FINALE RUINED! I owe my wife a decent Mother’s Day Meal!
