My friend and l had a leisurely lunch and were attended by the most competent waiter on the planet! Also the sommelier was outstanding. Kudos all around!
Absolutely wonderful!!! We celebrated my mother-in-law’s 91st birthday on Sunday. The hostess greeted us warmly and made sure we had the best table for our family. Ronnie, our server was incredible-professional, warm, extra-caring, and accommodating. The timing and service was perfect, as was everyone’s dinner. Fabulous atmosphere, food, and service! Thank you Al and your staff for always treating us like royalty!
It was my first time in Dallas so I went on opentable and picked this restaurant. Awesome restaurant with awesome service! I
Had a great meal!
I arranged a dinner for 19 people. This was the 2nd year doing it for a regional b-ball conference and we are all from out of town. We loved it so much that people are already planning on returning next year just for this dinner.
I just hope my popularity lasts a couple months. Everything was beyond fantastic and the servers were a ton of fun.
Al get's Dallas. Great food. Great scene. Bluepoint oysters were like butter. The bison steak was delicious and tender. Great service. Our favorite place to eat.
Love Stephanie P!!!! Great service! We always enjoy Al Biernat's! And the bartender makes great Old Fashions!
The food is very good. We sat at a booth near the bar. Our waiter was very attentive in the beginning but once it got crowded, he was not very attentive. We had to flag down another waiter to get the check. We still enjoyed our dinner!
One of our favorite Dallas restaurants! Never a disappointment!!
First experience with this restaurant, and my last. The crab and corn chowder was good, but after that it was downhill. The steak was tasteless, the wedge salad was below par and the coconut creme pie was awful. Told them on Open Table this visit was for my friends birthday, but no mention of this upon arrival or anytime during the meal. In my opinion, certainly not worth the money.
Al's is a Dallas staple, but this was our first time at the north location. The food, service, and ambiance were just as great as the original and the new building and decor makes the experience that much better. 5 stars!
Justice was our server. It was fantastic. He did an incredible job. Knew about our friends bday, knew her name. Was polite, engaging and prompt. I will ask for him every time. We had a phenomenal visit. Thank you. You guys made her bday very special.
Always a great meal. Brought another “first timer” to Al Biernat’s and the result was the same.....that “this place has the best steak in Texas, or anywhere for that matter”. The “first timer” was so impressed that he went back the next night to have a different steak. As always, well done Al Biernat’s!
When we drove up we already started off bad. We needed a handicap spot but the valet parkers put cars in all spots with cars without proper handicap tags. I had to ask a valet to move a car for us, and he did. Service and ambiance was nice Diana was a hood server. The pot roast and vegetables were way to salty for our taste. It was cool to see a couple of local TV Gas Monkey personalizes eating at a table near by. When the guy boxed up our leftovers, he only put half of the side dish leftovers in the box with plenty of room. Disappointing. When we left there were so many entrances and exits coned off we had to drive around the lot a couple of time to figure out how to get out. Needless to say I will spend my birthday somewhere else next year and probably won’t recommend this place to very many people. There is a better steakhouse on Beltlone and Montfort nearby.
Brunch to celebrate a 92nd birthday. Food was fabulous with a great variety to choose from--all nine in the party had something different. Service should have been better. Had to ask several times for dipping sauce for French dip sandwich, had to hunt down waiter for additional pancake syrup, just to list some examples.
Food is always excellent although we had to compete for the server's time as she had a table of 12 right next to us. Hope they can put these folks in a private area or room next time as they got a little noisy and started moving the furniture (chairs). Sunday brunch......
Always the BEST! Food, service...everything! Our favorite go-to restaurant.
Love love love ❤️❤️❤️
Consistently great. Always accommodating, excellent attentive service without being intrusive, and superb food selections. My favorite place in Dallas.
Was VERY good. Waiter (J.J) gave GREAT service.
Awesome experience! The food was delicious and we loved our waiter JJ! We also received a complimentary birthday dessert which was a slice of melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake!
Overall experience was great. The food was absolutely amazing! The place was very beautiful! I would love to come back again. Best New Year’s eve ever spent!
It just wasn’t at the same as previous visits. Very disappointing!
Enjoyed New Year’s Eve! Great service and wonderful food!
The food was good but we did not care for the service. The waiter was rude and kind of scatterbrained. We will probably not return. We paid the bill and left the slip on the table. They had already ran our credit card and we signed it like usual and somehow he lost the ticket. We were getting into our car at the valet and he runs out the door and catches my door and gets in my face about the lost slip accusing us of taking it. We did not have it but had our copy and he said well sign that copy and give it to me. Very rude! It was not our fault he lost it and they had already ran our card anyway so I don’t understand his issue. It ruined the entire night. He goes this happens all the time. Maybe he needs to be more careful! So unprofessional!
Great New Year’s celebration!
Excellent food, large portions, we will be back!
Marty was our waiter and he was outstanding. His attention to detail was great!
Four couples came together and wanted to try out a steak house in Dallas since it’s known for its great steaks and steak houses. Al Biernat’s was our choice and we certainly made the right choice. Maybe the best steak I have ever had the privilege to eat. My prime cut bone in filet was spot on cooked medium rare and seasoned to perfection. Others in the group felt the same about their choices as we all chose from the prime cuts they offered . The chopped salad was delicious as was the wedge. Others talked about the grilled pears with goat cheese salad. The sides that was shared by the table were delicious and should have ordered the onion straws as they were my favorite.
Two thumbs up for this place with a promise of coming back next time I’m in Dallas.
The service was rushed. The music was loud and lacked warmth in the restaurant. Steaks were excellent.....desserts mediocre for a steakhouse of this caliber.
We love this place. The managers and bartenders were wonderful - and the food and wine perfect like always. Our waiter got the job done expertly, but he was not as entertaining and friendly as others we have had. If you like your steak cooked a special way, just ask. They are very accommodating. Did I say the food was great?
Great food and great service as always! One of the best so far as value, food, and service. Would definitely recommend and return.
The Lobster Thermidor was AMAZING!!!!
Steven was our fabulous waiter on Christmas Eve - his attention to detail and professionalism are unparalleled. Excellent steaks, excellent service.
We caught them on a super busy night which made everything a little less than it probably would have been if it had not been Christmas Eve.
Second Christmas in a row they seated us at the bar. I made our reservation 6 months in advance both times. Last year was at the original location and this year at north Dallas. The food was good but nothing stood out as outstanding or special from any other steakhouse. We will find someplace else next year.
Eddie and the staff at Al Beirnats always make us feel special. We return several times a year from the day they opened in North Dallas. We enjoy our Christmas Eve dining and though it’s extremely busy, we like the atmosphere around the holidays.
No worries fellow vegetarians , the side dishes are amazing and the servings are large with plenty to take home. My fiancé enjoyed a perfectly cooked buffalo fillet and we shared the mozzarella tomato salad. We will continue to visit our favorite steak house even when steak and seafood is no longer the reason for my visits.
It was Christmas Eve, crazy busy but still very good!
Wanted a good Xmas eve meal with a warm feeling. We were relegated to the treehouse room which was anything but cozy. Service team was very good but quite honestly, the food came nowhere near matching the price.
