There was such a variety dishes each with different flavor profiles. As someone who’s not a foody, I’m not knowledgeable on all that good stuff, but what I will say was that for the price, the food was incredibly delicious and not everything was off the walls expensive. It definitely was an experience to share with friends aswell. The family style of eating made it just an excellent experience. To add, it’s pretty incredible to smell and basically be able to see your food being made in such proximity. I’m so bad with names, but our waitress was lovely, attentive, and helpful. Overall, I would love to return at some point.

Bold Flavors in a Bold Space – Dining at Akira Back Dining at Akira Back is a full sensory experience. The space is sleek, modern, and beautifully designed—but be prepared for some serious volume. With hard surfaces and a high-energy crowd, the acoustics make it challenging to have a relaxed conversation. It’s the kind of place where you’ll likely find yourself leaning in and repeating yourself just to be heard. That said, the food more than makes up for the noise. The menu is inventive and exciting, offering unique flavor combinations and beautifully plated dishes that are as fun to look at as they are to eat. However the Wagyu was disappointing as it was covered in too much sauce. Our server was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which added to the experience. If you're looking for a lively night out with adventurous, high-quality food, Akira Back delivers. Just don’t expect a quiet, intimate dinner—it’s more of a vibrant, social scene with a serious culinary punch.

Beautiful Restaurant food was absolutely delicious we sat at the bar, John was our bartender and server I can’t even begin to explain all the great recommendations he made and the detailed explanations of each dish he was on point with everything!! Drinks too!

I'm a new yorker and now reside in PA. We have enjoyed Asian fusion cuisine at many high rated restaurants. However, the referral to Akira Back while we were vacationing in Delray Beach was one of the highlights of our trip. The hostess was very professional and warm. We arrived a bit early so she suggested we check out the roof top bar while we waited for our table. We did and it started the night off just right,. The rood top bar had a super cool vibe and the bar tenders were great! A show and a drink. We received a text our table was ready. The rest of the night was amazing. Our server was fantastic! and also from the NE. She checked on us regularly, gave us great suggestions for things to try on the menu. The food was bar-none some of the BEST Asian fusion food we've had in all the restaurants we have gone too. The lobster tempura was so light with no taste of oil. The rest of the meal was glorious. We are NOT dessert people but our lovely sever suggested the egg roll dessert and it did not disappoint. We feel the lightness of our meal was the reason we could try the dessert. We cannot wait to come back and are already planning a trip back to Delray to eat at Akira Back again! Keep up the superior quality you have not only with the food but the staff too!

Everything was perfect and so delicious ! Tuna pizza, mystery box, miso cod, wagyu tomahawk, puréed potatoes. Each one ….amazing Thank you for a beautiful evening
