   Akbar’s, Blackburn – A Memorable Dining Experience Akbar’s in Blackburn is hands down my favourite spot for Indian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and genuinely engaging staff who go out of their way to make every visit special. The food is consistently excellent. On our last visit, we started with dynamite prawns, chicken tikka, and cheesy seekh kebabs – all bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. For mains, I went with the chicken charsi, rich and deeply spiced, while my daughter enjoyed a mild chicken karahi that was just right for her palate. What really stood out, though, was the thoughtful service. The staff surprised me with a lovely birthday gesture, even though I hadn’t mentioned it – a small touch that made the night even more memorable. Whether you're going with family, friends, or just looking for a great meal out, Akbar’s delivers every time. Highly recommended!

   Food and service fantastic our only negative was that the pink lighting was awful we had to ask to move tables so we wasn't sat under it. Other than that 10 out of 10 Would definitely recommend

   Had great food, loved the authentic taste and flavour. Service and staff have been nice and when it comes to ambience it felt too dull for dinners but overall vibe is great and will definitely revisit.

   We visited Akbar's Restaurant on Valentines night the decorations where excellent they really made the effort, the service was 1st class I'd the food was to die for we definitely be going back.

    We have been to many Akbar restaurants. This one is one of the best. Good food, friendly staff, lovely surroundings and as usual great food. Enjoyed by all.
