   Convenient location with very good food. While the service was not bad, the staff is either not trained on paying attention to detail or there is a lack of a manager keeping them on point. The staff paid more attention to their friends and phones then they should have. We would definitely go back as the food was very good. Service can be fixed easily with proper management.

   The service was terrible. We went before a sports event downtown. It is typical that we get better service to get to the game in time. We got there 1hr30min before we needed to leave. Our server didn’t come to see us for 15 min. We then waited over 50 min for our food once she finally took our order. We saw her the entire time just talking to other servers, on her phone and eating. By the time our food got to the table, it was cold. Likely sat at the window while she was “busy” talking. Both of us also got sick a few hours after the meal…. Overall would never go back. $80 meal…

   The service was excellent from our server Shae! However my plain Jane tacos weren’t flavorful at all!

   Booked a reservation for a party, table wasn’t ready when we arrived. and then we only had one server for 15+ people. We was there 3 hours total, very slow and at the end everyone’s checks were incorrect and had to wait an additional 30 minutes waiting for a correction while it’s like 6 employees just standing around. Manager no where in sight, will not come back again.

   The three tacos I chose for my flight were excellent—unique and delicious. Out server was great, juggling a backed up bar/kitchen nicely. The host took the time to give us a run through of the menu/beverages upon seating, which was nice since it was our first visit. Decor is fantastically eclectic and the music was upbeat but not overwhelmingly. Would absolutely recommend a visit!

   Been to agave & rye twice and loved it both times. Only flaw on this visit is that our food was not hot when it arrived :(
