   We came early, and was excited about the afternoon tea. We was quit surprised when we where told the restaurant had been closed for 3 weeks. Really dissapointed. And why did Opentable let us make an reservation?! Not good.

   Staff were really good with allergies! We went for my friend’s birthday and they even brought out a surprise plate at the end with Happy Birthday on it with chocolate, super sweet of them The afternoon tea was great, but we went because of the special offer they had on at the time, otherwise I think it’s probably a little pricey for what it is, but on the whole a very enjoyable experience and picturesque venue!

   The food was lovely and the staff were friendly but, my word did we wait! We’d go again as felt that maybe it was a teething problem but hope not to be left for quite so long with empty plates on the table and without our drinks order. The gin cocktails were beautiful.
