Helga is the ultimate host. She explained the menu and provide great recommendations for their plethora of teas. Aside from teas, can get ice coffee and the teas can be made cold. There was an issue with one of the pastry but Helga took care of the situation and we are happy with the resolution. The items are unlimited and whatever cannot be finished or if you want seconds can be brought home. Customer service is 5+ stars. The scones of the entire afternoon tea is the star.

It was my wife’s birthday that day and the service was very poor forgot to give us a champagne didn’t have tea delivered for about half an hour. Did not enjoy the sandwiches. was left at the beginning quite awhile with water which we paid £8.50 view were lovely, but I’m afraid I would not recommend afternoon tea at the shard I’ve been to the Ritz and had much better and Harrods as well very disappointed

It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the choice of bottomless pots of tea was excellent. We loved that the sandwiches could be topped up. Certainly no shortage of superb food.

The afternoon tea menu was okay, but I found it a bit too simple considering the price. I was hoping for a bit more variety or flair.

We went for our Anniversary. The service from the staff was amazing and very welcoming. The afternoon tea was on another level What a brilliant afternoon. Thank you to all the staff.

When we arrived the host asked if we were ok with sitting near the live music. We said that would be fine; she then led us to a table so close to the music, i could touch their guitar. We declined that table and they got us another table. Service overall was ok, a bit slow, but ok. The tea (I chose their own shangri-la-blend) was awesome. The coronation chicken sandwich was the best ever (better than the one at F&M. The rest of the sandwiches were mediocre. The roast beef was just bread and two small slices of beef.No mayo, mustard, whatsoever, as dry as dry van be. The presentation of the food is excellent, enrobing the Shard chocolate tower in dry ice smoke is just too cool. The scones were good, the clotted cream thick and creamy. The pastries were OK at best, nothing special. We were really looking forward to the chocolate Shard. The chocolate part was very good, the mousse was meh. Way too much gelatin, probably to hold its shape, but this gave it a very funny texture. The inside of the mousse, a carrot cake was weird in structure and taste. Summarising: Location and presentation: Amazing. Quality of food: mediocre. Would go again? Definitely not.

I took a friend for a 60th Birthday Afternoon Tea treat. i couldn't fault anything. The quality of the food, the service was on point and no intrusive. I definitely recommend. the view over London is magnificent

Our experience couldn't have been better. Each of the multiple staff was outstanding, informative, and pleasant. Food was wonderful. We were fortunate to have a great table and view which made this a fabulous experience for my wife on Mother's Day (US)
