This experience was overall disappointing, and if you are looking for an Afternoon tea in the area I would try something different. When we arrived the table was beautifully set but not clean. We waited a long time for first our drinks order to be taken, then for our tea choice to be taken. Both took ages to be served. The Afternoon tea menu itself was creative (this was probably the best part) but the fruit scones were flat - unacceptably so, and I was taken aback that these had even been served. When I wanted more tea, not only was it difficult to get someone's attention, what we were in the end given was just a water top up in the previously served pot! So no option to try something different, just some additional weak tea. When most other Afternoon Teas in London will allow trying several teas, will replenish the sandwiches and scones, it's worth noting when one does not. I'd booked this as a birthday celebration to show my French family a bit of a British tradition - quite frankly after this I would be surprised if they're willing to try anything British ever again. I'd noted when making the reservation that it was a birthday celebration - why bother to ask if you're not going to acknowledge it? We had so little service that I'm not sure why we paid the service charge - it seemed more inconvenient for the staff that we were there, yet for the majority of the time we were the only table.

Lovely afternoon tea! Very tasty and varied, one of the best I've ever had. The beetroot macaroons were particularly good.

Lovely afternoon tea that included a cocktail. Delicious sandwiches (some were a bit cold so think they may have come straight from the fridge - they could have done with a short period to warm up). Lovely cakes. Fab cocktail (Moll). Good service. Attractive contemporary decor, quiet enough for a chat/catch up with friends, but not dead/deserted. Good service (we were offered free sandwich top ups!). I would happily recommend this place and would come again myself.

Worst service I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. Myself and friends arrived and no staff welcomed us, we had to approach them and it felt like we were interrupting their conversation. We arrived to another customer complaining that she was waiting on food for 30+ mins, so not a bad started. We were brought to our table and had menus for afternoon tea but they left us sitting there waiting to order for around half an hour. No water on the table. They finally took our order after I glared at staff about three times. The afternoon tea was nice, the food was the only good thing about the restaurant. The cocktails with the afternoon tea were vile, too strong with a taste of pure alcohol, no other flavours. Getting staffs attention was a struggle, they all spoke Italian to each other too, every single one which is off putting and rude in my view. A man who looked like a manager brought our tiered tray of deserts and promised to come back with small cutlery. He never came back. I asked a waitress for a refill of tap water, the aforementioned small cutlery for desserts and if we could order our tea. Yes an hour into the afternoon tea ... we had not been asked what tea we’d like. The tea came but the waitress never brought water or small cutlery. She then disappeared and the other waiter avoided eye contact. It was a struggle to get attention for a bill. I finally did and then we were left waiting on that too for about 10 mins while the waiter folded napkins which must have been so much more important. We got up and paid at the bar. I was sickened to pay that 12.5% service fee, it wasn’t until afterwards my friend said it was optional. It disgusted me giving a service charge for practically no service. I was not go back here, not even to the hotel! It was a very quiet time of day and still we were ignored. Very disappointing experience as I booked this weeks ago and could have gone to a more reputable place for tea but decided to give the Lampery a go ... big mistake.

Noise was rather echoing, needs some baffling. Food was good especially the warm scones. Ordered water but this did not appear but on bill! Service was what to be expected but a bit disappointed that we had to ask for refill of tea

Food was excellent and a very very good deal. Cocktails and champagne very affordable and delicious! Service left something to be desired as staff seemed unfamiliar with afternoon tea altogether, but were friendly and responded well to feedback. Overall highly recommend for value, location, and ease!

A good way to celebrate with friends. Super service, attentive but not intrusive. A lovely tea with a few slightly different items included such as a goats cheese macaroon. Certainly enhanced by the "Moll" cocktail. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet relaxed place to meet up with friends whilst enjoying a very pleasant tea.
