We had a fantastic afternoon tea at this beautiful place. Lovely greeting on arrival and friendly service throughout. The food was delicious and very good value for money. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend.

Underwhelming experience. We were really looking forward to afternoon tea at Skeabost, but it did not live up to our expectations. Cups were dirty, had to ask for clean ones. Bread for the few sandwiches we got, was hard, sent it back. Nothing replaced. Service was slow, had to ask for our tea and coffee. Over rated, overpriced, underwhelming. Definitely not worth £24.50 per head. We did get a refund on our drinks after we complained to the manager. Up your game Skeabost. Plenty better places on Skye to try.

Es war fantastisch und besser als wir es uns hätten vorstellen können! Ganz fantastische Köstlichkeiten von Salzig bis Süss und es war sehr reichlich. Absolut zu empfehlen - muss man genossen haben.

What a wonderful setting for afternoon tea. The tea service was excellent, I think we drank a pot between the five of us. They just kept coming! About 15 minutes (5 miles) outside Portree to a gorgeous setting - worth the short drive.

The hotel is lovely and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious! Staff was friendly and professional and really made us feel welcome. The lavender crushed velvet couch was a bonus!!

We booked afternoon tea to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday which falls on valentines day. The hotel contacted me to ask if we would rather not have it valentines themed, as it was a birthday celebration, this thoughtful act was very much appreciated. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable meal, lovely location with polite and helpful staff . We shall definitely return.

The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. A beautiful room with a roaring fire. But the afternoon tea itself was very disappointing. Very poor selection of and amount of sandwiches: three finger sandwiches each, cheese and pickle or egg mayonnaise. Also a poor selection of cakes. It felt like they were unprepared to provide this service during the winter months, as we had a very pleasant experience during the summer.

My sister and I brought our Nan for afternoon tea and had a lovely time! My Nan is usually a fussy eater but ate everything that was included. The staff were attentive, even though they were also busy with a wedding party. Soft background music was the only thing missing.
