Afternoon tea was nice, service was lacking. We asked if the food was suitable for my pregnant friend and were informed that yes it was suitable to then ask again as there was a choc mousse to be told that I nfact no a few items were not suitable. Were often ignored

Service was awful lots of staff walking about not doing much else, certainly not serving customers. Sandwiches not good choice, asked for no mustard with the ham, reply already made so you have to have something from selection made - really!! Seeded bread one of us allergic to seeds sometimes people need to check whether or not customer has allergies, most places serve either white or brown bread. Only four thin fingers of sandwiches yet 4 cakes and two scones?
