   Fun place with good food options for the Afternoon at Tea at Roast. We would’ve liked a few more food options like a meat plate or a fish plate, or side salad, but understand the fixed pricing for this teatime event.

   7 of us had the afternoon tea and couldnt fault it. The most amazing food with a beautiful setting

   We were impressed by the food but once the tea and cocktail were served (at the same time, which is odd) We were then not spoken to again and we were in there for 3 hours. No one asked if we would like a drink, at all. not even water. We were there to celebrate my 40th birthday. it was a shame the service let it down.

   Booked for my friends 40th birthday treat and when booking was asked if was for a special occasion to which I replied yes . Upon arrival was seated at our table laid for 5 people which seemed odd. About 10 mins later lady came over and said only two of you? and started to clear the crockery we didn't need. Another 10 mins and then we were offered our choice of tea . Food arrived and was beautiful but would have expected a separate plate for the savoury and sweet selection to eat from. Our table was booked for 1:30 ,however we didn't receive food till 1:55 and then whilst we had only just started our desserts by 2:45 a man came over and said your bill is here as we need your table back! One lady was very kind though and got us a box and bag for us to take remaining cakes away . Overall lovely food but expected service to be better

   I’ve seen this restaurant on TikTok and I thought how lovely it was. I’ve passed by the entrance in Borough market several times. I wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant is lovely decked out beautiful surroundings. The staff were outstanding very attentive as I have an allergy. The only thing I would say is the tables are very close together. Apart from that nothing else as it was all so lovely. I’ve booked to go again.

   This was arranged to celebrate my friends birthday. We were seated and waited 15 minutes to be served. At one point we were given food and then had it taken away as it was deemed too much. Have had better experiences at this restaurant.

    Hands down the best experience I have ever had with afternoon tea and I’ve been to a few places. Everything was executed to perfection from the food, the service, the aesthetic, and the overall atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place enough! 12 out of 10!
