The name GŎNG derives from the Chinese word ‘dougong’ – a unique structural element of interlocking wooden brackets commonly seen in traditional Chinese architecture and featured throughout the sky-high venue.

GŎNG is pleased to present an exciting new concept to rival the classic British afternoon tea experience, with the launch of its Liquid Afternoon Tea. Guests will enjoy a food and miniature cocktail pairing that features a line-up of tea-inspired tipples, accompanied by a selection of sweet and savoury fare. Please note that hot drinks are not included in the experience and bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Any dietary requirement must be communicated at the time of booking and at least 48 hours in advance. Liquid Afternoon Tea Reservations are for 1.5 hours.

Lovely calm professional service. Liquid afternoon tea is a great concept. Paired cocktails were delicious and not over the top.

A very non traditional afternoon tea. The savoury options were very lacking and did not taste of very much. We had 1 piece of beef sushi, 2 pieces of salmon sushi and a cucumber sushi, so essentially 4 mouthfuls. But none had any distinct flavour. The accompanying cocktails I couldn’t drink as they really weren’t to my taste but it was a great idea. The sweet options were really delicious with two scones and a hazeulnut eclair type thing. it was okay, lacked flavour but the view and the service was amazing.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere and outstanding veiws. Great to have something different from the traditional afternoon tea.

I went to experience the afternoon tea with a friend this weekend and the food, service and ambience was excellent. We were seated by the windows so the views were beautiful as usual (despite the dreary weather!). We had sushi and cocktails to start followed by some sweet treats after. All delicious and the cocktails that came with complimented the food perfectly! I want to say a big thank you to Erlinda our waitress who was amazing! She was so helpful, friendly and incredibly attentive. She has an infectiously bubbly and smiley persona! Thanks for taking through each item and making our girly afternoon catch up perfect! Also - the playlist was great! Value for money on food I’d probably give 3-4 out of 5 stars but not a big deal as you are paying for quality, views and ambience when you visit here.

A fantastic afternoon tea but wish I hadn't eaten so many sandwiches as I was too stuffed to thoroughly enjoy the desserts... which were fabulous. Very few people were dining so it was very pleasant. I can imagine its really noisy when full. Had a great time but having to have my temperature taken 4 times by security was a bit OTT.
