It was a nice evening to enjoy good food nearby.
Small plates are a big too small but delicious!
Music a bit too loud.
Service was perfect!
This place is absolutely incredible. The food was great and the service was impeccable. I will definitely be back.
food is very expensive, menu very limited hotel need good menu not fancy but more choices. fancy chefs don't mean anything in chicago. good food and lots of selections count. that is why gibsons and hugos are always filled.
Outstanding brunch in a beautiful setting. Our server, Sandeep, was attentive and helpful navigating the new menu. The standouts were the brunch burger, SB&G, breakfast potatoes, and the turtle pancakes. Can’t wait to come back!
Staff were very considerate and lovely
Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great. Our waiter(Hayden) was always so friendly and kind and explained the menu perfectly from start to finish. Even had really great recommendations. When it comes to the food well it can’t get any better. Chef sawyer came and greeted the table and wow hands down 10/10 If you are looking for Delicious high quality plates, selection of wines and great service go to Adorn. Our table had three different entrees and everyone at the table thought that their food was completely amazing. We had everyone of their desserts, and everything was de-li-cious thank you Chef Juan. The desert experience was exactly that an experience. I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend booking a reservation If you want something different from your average dinner experience.
Service was awesome (recommended Hayden), drinks top notch, and the food to die for, highly recommend the Joe Beef style lobster spaghetti!!!!!
Delicious food; especially the mushrooms! Desserts out of this world!
We had an amazing experience at Adorn! We started with a couple of drinks and bar bites at the bar before moving to our table in the dining room for dinner. The service was outstanding - from the hostesses and bartenders to the waiter and food runners, everyone was very friendly and eager to serve. The food was incredible (save room for the taste of india dessert!) and the ambiance was perfect - they had an awesome DJ. 10/10 experience, I’m excited to go back soon!
Very noisy not relaxing
We really enjoyed the nitro mushroom and lobster pasta dish.
Came for brunch. Enjoyed the live music and surprise chef's table gift of the mini croissants and horchata and fruit plate when we sat down. The main food we ordered ended up being pretty underwhelming unfortunately. (Eggs Benedict & Biscuit/Gravy). Pancakes and espresso martinis delivered better. Wanted to love it, but ended up just finding it occasionally cute/well styled experience, but not delicious delivering.
Spectacular food and outstanding service. Chef Jon Sawyer created a fantastic menu. Every dish is created with the freshest and most delicious ingredients. Also, pastry Chef Juan makes the most exquisite desserts. We ordered all the desserts in the menu and absolutely loved all of them. Can’t wait to visit again.
I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world and this stacks up. If this restaurant continues at this caliber they are poised to earn a Michelin star.
Our server Sandy was perfect, just attentive enough to allow us to enjoy. The food was tasty and decor beautiful.
13th wedding anniversary brunch. The live music was wonderful. The bassist was particularly talented and created a very enjoyable background to a fantastic meal
Amazing food, space, and service! A menu that caters to all. Highly recommend!
Terrific breakfast. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were light and delicious with berries. They got whip cream for me too! Yum. The tea was top notch. They know how to make tea for a change. And our waitstaff were so nice.
food and room are nondescript. food and room other than the bar boring and bland. joe beef is rolling over in his grave with his name attached to that starchy lobster spaghetti dish. From a former regular when Chef Hickey was in kitchen, cant imagine why i would return
First time at Adorn. Loved the savory and sweet menu items. Desserts were amazing! Service was perfect.
Adorn opened recently as part of the Four Seasons Hotel's massive renovation. Old school guests may be put off by the contemporary look and feel of the lobby space, but trust me - it works. Chef Jonathan Sawyer is not a "typical" Chef. If you see him, he'll likely be dressed in black and wearing a baseball cap. Great cuisine that tastes as good as it looks! Creative cocktails and a welcoming service team complete the picture!
Went for Sunday brunch. Great service. I asked for my eggs fully cooked and got runny yokes, and they forgot the side potatoes. Dessert was excellent. Drinks good (mimosa) Loved the music trio. They were just opening and are working out some kinks. But the tables were well spaced and the servers were attentive. enjoyable atmosphere!
We had an amazing time at Adorn recently! We have a one-year-old, and got a babysitter for one of the first times (because of the pandemic), and were looking to have a much needed night out. Adorn is just what we were looking for - great drinks, great food and a great atmosphere. The new renovation is beautiful and the service was outstanding. The cocktails were amazing. Their espresso martini is seriously the best I have ever had. We shared several dishes and a few of my favorites were the fork and knife fried chicken (try the hot sauce they serve with it) and the lobster spaghetti was crazy good. We stayed for hours just having a great time! I very much recommend Adorn!
poor service! never got what we ordered in a timely fashion as we sat for 45minutes - and we were admonished of the state, covid dining time. Where as another group they just sat, 25min after we checked in, had gotten their first order before we did. never in my dining experiences in the Gold Coast have i ever been given poor service than at the Four Seasons: Adorn.
The dining room and bar are architecturally stunning.
My friends and I had a great time at Adorn, while all the food and drinks were great, I think for all in my party our favorite menu item was the nitro tempura mushroom. Service was excellent, Aaron and Lucian were very knowledgeable and friendly!
A very pleasant experience at the new Adorn Restaurant in the newly remodeled Four Seasons. Food and Service were excellent as to be expected at the Four Seasons.
Beautiful new contemporary space in the Four Seasons Hotel. Chef Jonathan Sawyer's menu is much different from the the previous Allium concept. Really good Caesar salad, gnocchi and steak. Knowledgeable service and a decent wine list. Bar seating will soon be available to make the space even more welcoming.
Outstanding service and meal! Thank you Adorn for making this a special night!
I wasn't planning on going to Adorn but thought I would check it out when I saw they had an opening at 7:30 on a Friday night, I am so happy I did. The food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our night, as well as our fellow diners, was a steller experience.
The room is beautiful, elegant, and inviting. The crowd was diverse and the opposite of stuffy. My partner and I had such a great time people watching that we stayed after dessert to have another drink.
Adorn was a great experience! I can not remember having such a good dining EXPERIENCE in the "time of covid". Thank you to all the staff, from the hostesses,to the manager and waitstaff especially Stacy and Lucien for a great night!!! I plan on returning soon! What a great addition to the neighborhood!
For years have enjoyed dining and staying at the Four Seasons Chicago. We heard about the renovation months ago and were excited to see it in person. When we arrived we could not believe the stunning and beautiful updated version. We were very excited to experience Adorn Bar & Restaurant as it was highly recommended by local newspapers and entertainment critics. We also knew that Chef Sawyer’s is a James Beard award recipient so we were looking forward to experiencing some amazing food which we did. We had a variety of tastes gnocchi, Caesar salad,
salt baked halibut (truly the best we have ever tasted) and an amazing bistro steak. We were not disappointed in any of the items we ordered.
The cocktails in the beautiful and modern/chic lobby bar area were perfectly done. The atmosphere was comfortable and well appointed with a contemporary feel without being stark and antiseptic. The bar itself is amazing just to look at. It’s a great space to stop by for a cocktail and small bites which are offered on the menu or go all out for the full dining experience.
With all of that said no dining experience no matter how great the food can be successful without a great host/hostess, bartender, and wait staff. Everyone we dealt with that evening went above and beyond to create a fantastic experience for us! Highly recommend!!!
Kibbytare, Thank you so much for your very detailed review of Adorn! We are so happy to hear that you love the new restaurant space, Chef Sawyers food, our cocktails, and the service team! We are equally excited about our new restaurant space & our food/drinks! We look forward to welcoming you back to Adorn very soon for another fantastic dining experience! Cheers, William Mitchell General Manager
I am not impressed. Maybe I’m too used to the old venue.
Service was lovely (!) and on point. No shortcoming there.
Menu was a mix of small bites and casual fare. Difficult to match up small bite with casual item to build a starter and entree.
Friends used to host parties here. I can’t see this venue being conducive to that for those of us in the neighborhood. Just good for quick bite.
Food was good, but very petite portions. One of my table mates sent a burger back because cheese was not melted. Pandemic kitchens seem to all not be at their best.
The old bar area disappeared (not just temporarily it seems) so a pre-dinner or post-dinner drink not going to happen.
I love the Four Seasons but this renovation feels cold and lacking. The restaurant echoes that feeling, for me. Others might disagree.
the career of such a notable chef from my hometown. Needless to say, I was excited to hear that he was bringing his talents to Chicago, and Saturday night my wife and I visited for an anniversary dinner.
First off, the service was exceptional. We have been cautious due to covid, and no restaurant has made us feel as safe as this one. Despite the distance, there was no lack of warmth from the staff. Everyone seemed genuinely excited to assist us from the moment we entered until the moment we left.
On to the food, there's really not much to say other than it's phenomenal. Chef Sawyer's elevated and technique-focused takes on comfort food are a little bit subversive for the posh Four Seasons space, but that makes it even better. The 3-day process to create the chicken wings comes through from the first bite, and the truffle poutine is as good as poutine gets.
Being a steak enthusiast, I was please to find the harder-to-find Picanha cut on the menu. It was butchered, cooked, and presented beautifully. My wife's Halibut was rich, sweet, flaky perfection.
It's a challenging time to be opening a restaurant, but if you want a safe place to get out and enjoy the work of an incredible chef and team, you can't go wrong picking here.
We had the most wonderful experience at the brand new Adorn restaurant. The staff was so attentive and accommodating to every last detail during our meal. The overall ambiance is BEAUTIFUL, drinks and food were top notch, and customer service was A+ all around. This place is a must go to!!!
So impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The ambience and energy of the restaurant was so refreshing and lively.
Thank you so much for the great feedback about the Adorn Service Team! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the energy of the new restaurant, we are all loving it too! Cheers, William Mitchell General Manager
I’ll be interest to go back in a few months to see how things have developed. Worth a try but go in knowing this has opened during COVID and probably isn’t in its final form.
Felt very safe and comfortable here from a Covid standpoint. The staff and service was outstanding. Bebe was our server and she explained the new menu to us and had the bartenders mix up a spirit free drink for me. The bar has Seedlip which I’ve been searching the city for! The food was amazing as well - some of the highlights included the bread and candle service, poutine, wings, and tomato tartlet. Will be going back as soon as possible to try out the breakfast and lunch menus.
Service was lacking at best. There were three of us and each of our orders came 10-15 minutes apart. We should have all been served at the same time. Then our server messed up our bill big time. He charged us $90 more than the bill should have been. When we brought it to his attention he argued with us. When he brought back the corrected checks, they had been charged to someone(s) elses credit cards. Very bad for a four star restaurant. This is the second time we have been since they reopened. The first time the service was flawless. This time horrible. The first time we told many of our friend about the restaurant. This time I would not reccomend. I will not be back in the near future.
EdwardIII, I am terribly sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with the timing of your meal and during the payment process. I can assure you that we have taken the necessary steps to correct these issues moving forward. I hope that we will have the opportunity to show you a vastly improved dining experience in the near future! King regards, William Mitchell General Manager
We are so happy that the Four Seasons has reopened. The renovation is gorgeous and the food was fabulous. There were four of us and we shared a bunch of items. Standouts were the tomato tartlet and the chicken wings. The wings are apparently a specialty of the chef and were amazing. (btw I really don't like wings) They seem to be handling Covid restricitons very well and we really enjoyed our evening. Of course the service was perfect!
TimC, Thank you so much for your great review of Adorn! We greatly appreciate the kind words and are ecstatic to hear how much you enjoyed Chef Jonathon's food. We are very happy to know you were pleased with our attention to COVID precautions, our guest's safety & comfort are our top priority Best, William Mitchell General Manager
