Was a perfect evening all around!! It was a special birthday dinner. Service was excellent very attentive and personalized; food was amazing as always; atmosphere was great very relaxing not too loud. It was just an all around a great experience.

We had a Reservation and showed up a 15 minutes earlier. Our reservation was at 6:30 yet we did not get seated until 7:30. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. We needed drink refills. The manager came over and asked if we needed anything. I as for the refill for my Dad. She left saying no problem. A while later the waitress comes by. I asked her for the drink. She brings my father his drink and as he is half way done with his drink the manager remembered she owed him a drink and sends it his way....a little too late..!

My wife's meal was great, my meal was terrible. The steak was tuff, the potato had nothing to it, brought out 2 packets of hard butter, had to ask for sour cream, I expected more. Service I know she was busy, but she forgot several things several times. I will try it again, before I recommend, so that I don't send someone and they don't have an experience like myself.

The filet mignonette, salmon, and lamb were awesome. We got creme brûlée. My wife said it had a maple flavor. She was ok with it, but it ruined the excellent meal for me.

Second time here and still very good. I had the pork which was yummy. My husband had the fried chicken which was also good. Bananas foster for dessert again as what could be better. Nice service.

Great lamb shank and veggies. My husband had the duck poutine which he enjoyed but was a bit too hot (spicy) even for a native New Mexican! The very amazing item was bananas Foster— flambé and all. Excellent finish. Very good service. What a great find.

Took clients out for a Dinner their and it was great the I had the Ancho rubbed ribeye and it was fantastic. one guest had the Dr. Pepper lamb shank and said it was very good, the wine selection is good

Excellent tradition on thanksgiving. Big portions. Dessert included with meal. Only suggestion would be a senior plate maybe 1/2 food amount at a discount. Mom barely finished 1/4

We had a very enjoyable dinner. Waitress was not too accurate with the new fall menu item. The shrimp and grits was not garnished with corn, but covered in corn slaw. Other than that the dinner was delicious and the outdoor dining was very enjoyable. I would recommend Adobe Rose to anyone going to Artesia!

Food is a little pricey, but it was very tasty. Our waitress Layla was very unattentive. My wife's drink was wrong. Could not get Layla's attention. I finally had to take it back to the bar myself. Bartender saw the error and fixed it right away and apologized. We finished our meal and I had to flag down Layla to get our tab. I then could not get Layla's attention and had to stand up and call her by name to get her to take our money.

Made reservations a few days before, but was still sat in a back room that reminded me of a church basement. Food was overpriced for what it was, service was slow. Overall not impressed especially for a place that has Chef Rick Bayless on its wall. I can cook better food at home so I will do that from now on.

Absolutely love the salmon...it’s what I order 90% of the time and every timer is fabulous! The service was great! Even though our waitress had her hands full, she attended to us thoroughly.

We drove from Roswell for dinner with friends and arrived early for cocktails on the patio. Love the ambiance of this place! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful and the food was fabulous. Can’t wait to go back!

We were visiting my parents in Roswell and drove the 45 minutes to dine here. The food was great! We started with the appetizer special- zucchini bread (zucchini from the chef’s garden) and local peaches & grapes. Best zucchini bread I’ve ever had! We split a salad and it was excellent. We had the salmon and filet entrees. It was very rich and delicious. I will be sure to visit again next time we are in the area.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! We drove 40 minutes to get there, as there were not many restaurants with positive reviews in the area and every bite was AMAZING. The prices were AWESOME. And we hated to leave our leftovers behind, even though we are traveling and living out of our vehicle for a few days. The food was THAT GOOD> Thank you Adobe Rose for the fried Avocados, amazing queso, and delicious experience!

I always order the salmon but our waitress, Sophia, suggested the daily special which was mahi mahi and I’m so glad I went with her suggestion. She was such a pleasant waitress and tended to us extremely well! I highly suggest you try any of their plates and appetizers. We are very fortunate to have such a great restaurant in our small town.

We took friends to Adobe Rose because the food is always great! This time, the food was exceptional! We had the stuffed avocado as an appetizer...amazing. The Adobe Rose salad was plenty for two. The dressing was superb. The entrees, salmon and the filet were perfectly cooked and attractively presented. It is 40 miles from our house to the Adobe Rose, but it was worth every minute!

Excellent food! The steak was perfectly cooked, as was the salmon dish. I'm still thinking about the meal, days later. The kid's entree of chicken and waffles was mostly tasty - the kids said they were the best waffles they'd ever had, but the chicken tenders were way too heavily battered. Very generous portions though! Delicious overall! Keep up the great meals!

I’m not really sure why this restaurant gets such good reviews. The food was not that good, a lot of the food looks like a it was bought already made at supermarket. Also where the restaurant is located is terrible, it’s right in front of an oil field looks like and it smells like gas inside restaurant. After so many good recommendations from people we decided to try it, however very dissapointed.

For our Anniversary, my wife and I traveled to Artesia to the fabulous Adobe Rose. We’ve had their meatloaf (don’t knock it!) and their Dr. Pepper Lamb roast (delicious!), but that night I had the Ancho Steak - perfectly cooked: tender, juicy and delicious! My wife had the chicken fried steak, which had perfect crust and delicious mashed potatoes with white gravy. The portions were huge, so come hungry! My only nit-pic is that my baked potato was a bit cool - and I had to request butter and sour cream (our server was young and probably under experienced). Go. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent food and service! I am a steak lover, and have dined at many excellent and much higher priced steakhouses all over the United States. The ancho strip steak I had here was just as good or even better than any steak I've had anywhere else at even twice the price. Highly recommended. Also, if you like avocados, try the stuffed fried avocados. They were delicious!

We always love going to the Adobe Rose. The food is always consistent.! The service is good and the staff is friendly. We always think of an excuse to go even though it’s a 30 minute drive. We really should order something besides the filet but it’s by far the best we have eaten anywhere before even in the best steak houses, so we get it every time we go.

Really crowded the night we were there. So I realize the wait staff was probably over whelmed. Food was delicious. As always. Drinks kinda high priced for the area. Due to the crowd it was extremely noisy. But over all it was a good evening out.
