Ada's Fish House is a family owned and operated establishment, boasting fresh fish and seafood in a relaxed atmosphere. Ada's offers classic coastal dishes with an East Coast influence such as crab cakes and lobster rolls with mouth watering specialties of Pacific Coast Halibut, local snapper, and seafood pasta. Ada's sources fresh seafood daily in order to provide the highest quality product to their customers. Executive Chef and owner, Douglas MacMillan, is always introducing new and exciting dishes - simple and fresh. A mostly local wine list and full bar await your arrival.

This was our third visit and we were so happy to see the patio opened! We loved the new look and it was wonderful having the heaters on a cool evening. As always, good and service were amazing!

Absolutely fantastic experience! The service was top-notch -- the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. We sat outside and they had no problem dialing in the heaters for us. You can tell they genuinely care about making you comfortable. We had the oysters, clam chowder, but the real standout was the Cioppino -- easily in my top 4 of all time. Rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked seafood, and generous portions. The large scallops were the cherries on top. Honestly, it blew away the more fancy local seafood spots I've tried. If you're in Pismo Beach and love seafood, this place is a must. Great vibe, amazing food, and even better service.

The service here was great and the outside seating area was so cute, dog friendly, and had great heaters for when it got cold. Food was presented nicely and tasted delicious

Outstanding clam chowder. Several local wines available. Pleasant staff. Easily one of the best seafood restaurants in Pismo Beach.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a quick day trip. Best fish we’d ever had! Everything was made with such care and excellence. I had the halibut with rice pilaf, my husband had the salmon with potatoes au gratin. The fish was perfectly cooked, served with a rich and wonderful sauce. The potatoes au gratin were amazing as well, super flavorful and tasty! My compliments to the chefs, for sure. Our server was wonderful as well, friendly, efficient, and passionate about the food. Ada’s is worth more trips to Pismo, for sure! We can’t wait to go back and try the desserts, we were so stuffed we were bummed we couldn’t! We will have to make a trip out when we’re really hungry to try some appetizers too! Don’t pass up this place, Ada’s is our new favorite seafood stop!
