This is most likely the best steak house in Austin. The menu is varied with steak and seafood, salads, etc. Service (Staff?) was great. Anticipated our needs. The food was delicious and plentiful. The deserts are also delicious. A little on the expensive side. A very good experience. Use the valet parking.

Upon arrival, we were greeted and my Wife was celebrated by Hostesses for it being her Birthday. Everything kinda went downhill from there. We are accustomed, when special occasions are listed on our reservation, that our Server and others help us celebrate. Our Server was not informed. We didn't find that out until the end. She started out pretty good, but after My Wife received her food with the temperature being unacceptable, it seems like our Server took our complaint personal. She asked my Wife if she could take her food to reheat it. My Wife declined because she never likes sending food back to Kitchens. It might have been coincidental, but we watched other tables get better treatment than us. We did appreciate the Managers coming and bringing my Wife a new plate. I felt bad because I selected the place and expected that my Wife was going to have a spectacular Birthday Dinner. My Wife did share with the Server, her disappointment, very calmly, on our way out. We definitely expected better.

The food was very good. Our waiter was super nice. My wife loved the heirloom tomato salad and I thought the shrimp and grits were excellent and flavorful. Overall, it's a good restaurant and we will go back someday. The only reason I don't rate it a 5 is it's hotel lobby vibe. It's a nice decor, but it's somewhat integrated with the hotel lobby and it feels like a place that hotel guests go to eat more than a unique restaurant experience.
