   The food was very good. Our waiter was super nice. My wife loved the heirloom tomato salad and I thought the shrimp and grits were excellent and flavorful. Overall, it's a good restaurant and we will go back someday. The only reason I don't rate it a 5 is it's hotel lobby vibe. It's a nice decor, but it's somewhat integrated with the hotel lobby and it feels like a place that hotel guests go to eat more than a unique restaurant experience.

   We ordered the eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros. The flavors were good but both dishes missed the mark. The English muffin in the Benedict was so hard and tough I could not cut it with the knife. It reminded me of Melba toast in texture. The tortilla in the Rancheros was equally tough and inedible. Because the flavors were good, we'll give them another shot hoping that Saturday was just an off day for the chef. The ambience was everything I would expect of a downtown Austin restaurant, a very pleasant atmosphere with efficient, courteous staff.

   Tres leches french toast is phenomenal! Huevos Rancheros was soupy. Needed more tortilla! Overall, love the place!

   Went for special occasion but the ambiance was not conducive for this. There were kids and people in jeans and t-shirts. What I didn’t realize is that it is part of a hotel. The food was not great either. Wont go back but maybe my expectations were just wrong from the start. But given the price I would not consider it a good value.

   The place is beautiful, the ambiance pleasant and the food is very tasty. We had the meatballs ( really good!) the spinach mushroom omelet with breakfast potatoes and the eggs benedict with ham instead of bacon. Everything was to my taste but: my dish was supposed to be accompanied by breakfast potatoes which were nowhere to be found. I asked for the potatoes and the waitress said they were going to bring them to me. It never happened. And another detail: The supposedly breakfast potatoes that my daughter had in her plate were overcooked smashed potatoes overcooked. Breakfast potatoes are cut in cubes, not like they served today. Also, they took forever to bring our order. So, I liked the place and I would be back to see if this was a special circumstance or if it is customary.

    Thankfully we made a reservation. However, the food was not worth the price. Very pricey for what you got. Also, my steak was over done and my wife’s steak was underdone. Also, don’t fall for the “fake ad” on their own website that they participate in the “1/2 off Specialty margarita.” It’s only if you’re sitting at the bar! So fake news unfortunately…not cool, false advertising. $240 for 3 margaritas(supposedly 1/2 off) 1 app, 1 side of Mac and cheese, 2 steaks (1-8 oz and 1-10 oz). Not worth it.
