Acme Pizza & Pasta Co. is a carb-forward, Italian-leaning neighbourhood restaurant located in the heart of Sunnyside. (Gluten-aware options are always available.) We’re proud to call the beautiful and historic Vendome Block Building our home.

Building on the original Acme Pizza Co. concept, Acme Pizza & Pasta Co. expands into a full-service restaurant with a multifaceted menu — all while keeping the same signature pizza program that started it all. Having already been fans of Acme's pizza from Sunalta's Tailgunner Brewery, we were excited to try their extended menu at their new Sunnyside location, and we were not disappointed. We tried a couple of small plates (focaccia and carrots), pasta (pappardelle), and a dessert (cannoli). Everything was delicious. Reasonable prices. Good service. Great ambience. Perfect for a date night or a girls' night. A new go-to spot in Sunnyside!

Fabulous design, service and ambience. The food was ok it was under seasoned and bland. However will try again in a few weeks as was so looking forward to a new spot in the neighborhood.

We were the loud ones. Food was amazing and so was the service. Definitely recommend the Carbonara pizza

Great vibe. I felt as though I was in London UK! I am pleased to have this gem in my neighbourhood. Super menu and excellent service.

I was thrilled with the menu and each dish we tried was excellent. I do feel they could amp up the wine list. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We've enjoyed Acme's pizza back at the brewery locations and thought we'd try out the new standalone restaurant. As in my rating, the atmosphere, service and food were all excellent. The only blemish was the Pavlova dessert with the meringue being far too firm (hard). Service kicked in here though and it was removed from the bill with just the mere mention. Hope to be her many more times.
