We came to celebrate with a party of 4 and our waiter Chris gave us special attention. I’ve lived in Boston a long time and this place has been on my list and so glad we chose this place for our celebration. Great vibes- not stuffy but definitely a Boston feel, fun environment and great food. We obviously had different cuts of steak but also the shrimp cocktail and salads were great. It’s also nice that there is still a restarant that provides a complimentary bread basket and white tablecloths. As noted our waiter, Chris was excellent but so you were all the other people who came to our table. We will go back again!

                                                                                                                            Part of our family has a wedding coming and we were able to organize a short trip with some fun (and shopping) to get caught up; Abe & Louie's was the perfect place for our group to dine. Knowing our group has eclectic tastes, while we discussed food and wine we ordered an amazing Rose on a warm night. With that taken care of our server Tim walked us through the specials and some questions on options on the menu, somehow he kept up with our pace and varied requests and made some suggestions that worked great for the group. Knowing Brian preferred NY Strip I suggested he try the dry aged version. It was a hit not just with him but Abby had the same and was smiling. I tried something new; again, a nice night so I went with baked stuffed lobster. It was a perfect mix and I somehow finished it (I did have the smaller option). On a boring note, Julie had the rib eye cap steak. I believe she's had only that since its start last fall. Yes, it's good (ok, excellent), but I love the boneless rib eye and do try to vary just know how good everything is. Julie had spoken with Matt on our last trip and had a nice red in mind, but we also wanted a white which Dave helped with something new that they can't get often. The red was a nice choice for everyone and the type of evening, the white was exceptional. We discussed desserts and at Tim's suggestion went a bit family style. We want to thank everyone at Abe & Louie's for such a memorable evening with these special people. We have a few favorites in town, but Abe & Louie's is the only choice for the best meat, service and wine. Thank you, Bill & Julie

                                                                                                                            I frequently dine at high end steak houses. I have a high expectation. I would not recommend this location. Started with a specialty martini. Cucumber lime sounded great. It looked great, but tasted like lime only. This was the theme of the night. All the food looked absolutely amazing! Picture perfect. None of the food was seasoned. Lobster Mac n cheese, bland. Steak no flavor at all. Scalloped potatoes bland. The juice was not worth the squeeze.
