   Based on reviews I expected to be super impressed, but overall it was just ok. Our server promised us the bone-in filet special would be the best we’d ever had…but definitely wasn’t the case. It was ok, but not worth the price. Seating was snug and the noise-level made it so I couldn’t even hear the person across from me unless we shouted at each other. Portions were large. The person sitting at the table next to us sent her steak back 3 times because it wasn’t done correctly. I had the halibut special & that was very good, no complaints. I think if you’re looking for high-end steak then I’d try somewhere else. If you’re looking for bougie drinks & fun IG photos, this might be the spot.

   My boyfriend and I had a delicious dinner here! We came here specifically given the menu and their speciality in seafood and steak. My boyfriend got the filet mignon and I got the diver sea scallops. The filet was the most tender and delicious filet I’ve ever had. The cook was perfect - a true medium. The scallops were also very good and the bacon jam paired really well with the scallops and celery root purée. 10/10 would recommend! Also the drinks were delicious as well.

   Second time in one week. Was in town for a conference. the off site banquet dinner on the last night of the conference was subpar and I did not eat it. Instead made reservation for Abe & Louie's as we had eat there earlier in the week and had thoroughly enjoyed it. This time, they accommodated us on short notice had great recommendations and took great care of us. Will definitely return next time I am in Boston.

   Great Food, comfortable vibe and service was well done. Great variety and all very tasty. Will keep it on my short list for Boston.

    Georgy was our waiter. He was so welcoming and knowledgeable; just lovely. Abe and Louie’s never disappoints. Everything was perfect!!!
