Positively impressed by the dining area decor - nice ceiling, lots of plants, and loved the niche tables! The food was exceptional taste wise! The wine list is a bit limited… the only negative was that my wife’s chair had the seat loose and when she was sliding it forward her fingers were caught between the seat and the chair base when she sat down … a bit painful. Other than having a suspect chair all else was quite nice!

The ambiance felt like you really were in Tulum! The food was fast , hot and so delicious ! Definitely coming back here again .

The service was terrible today which was disappointing. I have been there before and had great service. It took 25 minutes for bread and butter to come out and then and an hour for our brunch. Not once but twice did the wrong orders come out to the table. Multiple people in the establishment acknowledged the unorganized manner.

Our server was really incredible and did his best to make it a special evening, and credit where credit is due, an entree and drink were comped, but it shouldn’t take thirty minutes for a drink to come to the table. We also had to wait for our table’s last entree to come out for roughly twenty minutes while our other food got cold.

We had a wonderful time at Aaktun for our anniversary. I loved all the plants, the ambiance, the service was great and the food was too! No complaints at all, would definitely recommend!
