It was an amazing experience, the fusion of cultures and cooking was incredible! Will definitely return. The cave feel inside the restaurant was also very neat!

We love Aktun. Atmosphere is so fun. Staff is professional and warm. Came for my daughter's birthday and we had an amazing evening. The goat cheesecake is a MUST this summer.

The design of the restaurant both indoors and outdoors is extremely visually pleasing. No complaints there. The food really didn't have any flavor, I couldn't taste any seasoning. I ordered the fish tacos and the texture was great, it had a good crunch to it. I don't believe our waiter has ever waited on tables before. He was basically either nowhere to be seen for 20 minutes at a time, and we hadn't ordered our drinks yet or he was hanging out with other staff. He never came back to check on us he didn't walk by to see if we needed anything. We had to flag him down to get a refill or to get her a check. I don't think I'll be attending again. But it is very pretty

Aesthetic coffee shop, reminded us of Tulum, MX. One of the best teas "El Chai" we had in a while + thumbs up for having milk alternatives to choose from. Highly recommend!

Took my little sis here for brunch and she loved it! There was a DJ and the music and vibe were really relaxed. It was pretty busy so there was a slight wait for some of our requests from the waitstaff, but we understood that it was because there were so many people there dining. The curry chicken was great, according to sis. I always love the vegetarian tatchos. And the fish tacos are always awesome. We’ll definitely be back. One of my favorite spots in Durham because of the atmosphere and decor and great food and drinks!
