Was super excited to have this in Clayton after going to the Durham location last year. The food was really good (the coconut shrimp were huge and fresh!), but our service was pretty horrible. Our waiter couldn’t even tell us what white wines they had, then served a red wine after all the fuss it took just to order it. Appetizers were put in wrong, and they comped the mistakes, but it made for a pretty frustrating dining experience. Hopefully they get it together better because I can see the service being the reason why people don’t return, when the space is so special. The food is great, and I’ve been during cafe hours and never had an issue with service then.

I really like this restaurant and want them to do well in Clayton NC. It’s my third time there and I can already see the value slipping! Green curried chicken was good but the rice to sauce ratio was off, too little sauce and few pieces of chicken. The papaya salad was ok, shrimp was undercooked and smelled fishy. Shrimp and Grits was $26!! That’s way too expensive for what we got.

The food was so delicious and the service impeccable. The bread was my favorite. Tasted like a warm fluffy garlicky cloud. 10 out of 10!

Lovely inside dining room with lots of plants. Service was great. Charred Brussels sprouts excellent and very different with a pineapple salsa. Grilled Romaine had a similar salsa giving a sweet/sour vibe. Goat cheese cheesecake was excellent with a papaya sauce and fresh fruit. Look forward to returning and trying other dishes.

The service was excellent. The decor was fabulous. Everything we ate was delicious. The Brussels Sprouts are a must order. I do feel it was overpriced for Clayton, NC. The cocktails were $16-$19 which is ridiculous. That is more than you pay in NYC or South Beach

We had a fun and tasty night out! Our server had some spot-on recommendations—we never would’ve thought to order the Trio appetizer, but we’re glad we did. Every bite was delicious and shareable. And the presentation was too cool. The Bavette Saltado was a standout, as were the Tropical Shrimp and Papaya Salad. We also tried a couple of cocktails, which were served in creative glassware. We'll definitely be back!

The service was amazing. Our waiter was Dillon. He explained the food menu and drink menu to us with expert ease. Answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The food was outstanding. Presentation was beautiful. The drink choices were fun and came in cute themed glasses. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. We will definitely be going back.
