   It’s a very cute restaurant, with a nice atmosphere. However, they sat us, gave us our menus and came back a little bit later to take our drink orders. After allowing us the time to decide what we wanted for drinks, when we tried to order, we were informed that we had the wrong menus, and the full bar that is seen, can’t be used. I don’t think they have their liquor license yet. If they would have just communicated this, it would not have been a problem. As for the food, it was ok. My wife and I ordered three of their small plates to share, and none of them were bad. But also not something that would bring me back again.

   Overall good for opening dinner service. It took 35 minutes for me to get a cocktail, though, so that was a bummer.

   Flavor of the food was great. Each dish was unique, thought teriyaki based sauce for the pork belly was interesting being a Latin based restaurant but overall tasted fantastic. Service was a bit slow being only 4 tables sat, the server was kind but only did table touches when necessary. The restaurant doesn’t have its beer/wine or liquor license yet. One complaint, I was offered bread as I sat thinking this was a complementary starter… later to find out was charged 7 dollars for it. Something like this should be mentioned before offering, so there is no surprises on the bill. Overall good experience and a unique restaurant for Clayton. I thought the food was great, service could have been more attentive.

   Distinct sophisticated cuisine. Brussels sprouts, Huli Huli Chicken, Burger.. all good. The French Toast is excellent, however, it may have been better on the dessert or pastries list. Must have though..

   Food was delicious. Restaurant was beautiful. It was slightly more pricey than other places in Clayton, but equal or cheaper than comparable Raleigh restaurants. Thankful to have this option in town.

   Loved this! Made a reservation. Was seated promptly when I arrived. It was busy rush time on a Saturday but the service was still great and the food was so good. The restaurant felt upscale. Coffee drinks delicious and Instagram worthy.

   Reserved a table for six. Server was Tania was friendly, however specialty drinks and food came out very delayed and staggered. Food is great but there is a clear disconnect between service and food. Servers/hosts were confused a lot. Bringing out the wrong things for different tables. It was a little frustrating for us trying to have a nice early Mother's Day brunch. Next time a little more communication about delays would be great!

   2:45pm reservation was not honored. Drove 30 minutes to restaurant only to be told they closed at 2:30. It was a Sunday btw.

   Fantastic addition to Clayton’s growing food scene. In the same location formerly held by Crawford’s, Aaktun has made the space and approach their own. Great food and drinks, most with a Latin flair. One of our favorites for brunch. The shrimp and grits and their churros inspired pastry were to die for. I should note that we showed up nearly an hour early for our Sunday 11:30 reservation and they seated us right away with zero fuss.

    Runnnnnn! Aaktun Clayton - Is. Phenomenal. The decor is on point (coming from an interior designers 👀😉). Along with the great vibe came exceptional food and service. We tried the tradition Mexican lattes, OG totchos, and the little bull French toast. All YUM! A must try and returning spot.
