   Waitress brought wrong bottle of wine. When I mentioned she left the check and didn’t come back. Asked for a cork, but they didn’t have one that fit the bottle. That’s okay, but didn’t come back to give us a carry bag

   i was sat at a table where the staff would try to squeeze through a 12 inch space between me and the column , i was bumped into twice by staff without them apologizing . The food was excellent but the waitress did not offer us dessert , she simply brought us our check and turned around immediately to leave the table . we tried to get a hold of her but she didn’t acknowledge our gestures . I’ve worked in the service industry so i could imagine how busy she was especially on mother’s day so i did not rush her . when she came back she apologized and explained she blanked out and that was fine .

   our party had a hard time deciding what pasta dish to order so we each ordered a different one so we could have a taste of each others. All of the dishes were spectacular! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes.

   I am disappointed. The waitress was excellent, but the food was not good. My son ordered the veal dish with lump crab meat, the portion was so small he only got four bites. I ordered the pork chop, a bit overcooked and I didn't like the sweet sauce. Too expensive for the kind of food and portions.

    I brought my family here for Mother’s Day. We have two young children and my concern is that they will wreck things. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. It was just loud enough that you couldn’t hear them cutting up. The food was excellent. It went as well as could be expected

    This is my 2nd dining experience at A Tavola. The first dinner was great, I had the crab cakes entree. Today I ordered the salmon entree, the food was oily and almost greasy. There was also a salty flavor in my salad. I was surprised at such a difference in my dining experience. I may try A Tavola again in a few months.

    Quality meal but not spectacular. Our waiter was a character, which in this case is good. The Grilled Bruschetta has great flavor and is unusual compared to typical Bruschetta. Due to healthy eating I had the Brick Oven Roasted Vegetables. While the Broccoli was very over cooked (I still ate it) the rest of the vegetables were quite good. My wife had Crabmeat Au Gratin which she rated as average for that dish. Others at our table enjoyed their food as well. No one was disappointed but no one was blown away either. While good, returning is a borderline proposition because of the myriad of dining options that N.O. and the surrounding suburbs have to offer.

    Our waitress Alexis and Ivy the bartender were the best part of the dining experience. The food was underwhelming to state it nicely. The grilled salmon was so greasy it made my stomach hurt. The margherita pizza was just as greasy with way too much cheese the restaurant was not very clean and it was ridiculously loud. Not worth the money. We were very disappointed. We had heard wonderful things about it but it didn’t live up to the hype. There are many outstanding restaurants to choose from in Metairie and New Orleans; sadly I’d refrain from going to this one.

    Met my friends for happy hour drinks and appetizers outside on patio since weather was so nice. We enjoyed ourselves and all the apps were very good. I especially loved the goat cheese and meatballs. We shared the cheesecake for dessert and that was delicious.

    The waiter and atmosphere were very good The meatball sandwich had no sauce, very dry, meatballs had no taste, bread over toasted and very hard. Did not eat. Two of us ordered this to eat. The dressing on the italian salad with chicken was not very tasty. The crab cake was very good.

    Tuna crude app leaves much to be desired. Sandwiches and salads are always pretty good. Sides are never served hot. Great ambience, always wish it would deliver great food to accompany the ambience but I like what they are aiming to be.

    We were three adults and two children. Staff was very accommodating with appropriate seating, the children’s meals were brought out quickly. We shared different dishes among us and all were plated separately. I love in a restaurant does that.

    The service from our waiter Raphael was impeccable. He gave us recommendations and I got one of the dishes he recommended and it was delicious. He was friendly and attentive but not TOO attentive. I would go back just to sit at his table.

    Worst dining experience ever in my life. To begin our appetizer was delivered to the table before we even placed our order for entree as our server disappeared. Then the rudest manager came to our table and took my cocktail before I was finished and said I couldn’t have more than 1 drink at the table. Then after she took the drink, the waiter brought me another one even though I didn’t order it. It was worst dining experience on Easter Sunday. Then they had nerve to charge me for a drink that the manager removed from my table. I will never step back inside this establishment again. Be warned!!

    Food was bland, service was adequate and the waitress mislead me on the order. Also, when asked for another pepper grinder, the waitress walked away with it, came back and said she fixed it. Guess what?? no pepper. Noisy environment. Never going back or recommending this place.
