Mussels and Pommes Frites
A full order of our Mussels and Frites, with two glasses of house red or white wine or draft beer
À Côté serves the best and freshest mussels I have ever tasted anywhere and the accompanying frites are a must have! The wine list is multilayered and always provides a new and exciting adventure. We ended the meal with a seasonal pumpkin cheesecake. Yum!
Great service, excellent cocktails and fantastic food!
The service was great but the food was uneven. The mussels, romaine salad and steak were delicious. The gougiere was doughy and heavy and the green risotto that came with the scallops was not good.
Excellent! Service, hospitality and food were all terrific! It was a lovely dining experience that we’re truly grateful for.
Absolutely delicious smorgasbord of treats for an adult birthday celebration. I want to run back again to try the items we couldn't order. Everything was outstanding. The parklet was very pleasant.
Interesting food, though rather small portions. Wine selections minimal but excellent choices. Outside dining like being on a picnic, metal tables and chairs without comfort or decoration; inside pretty dark. Go for the food, not the ambience.
Truly an excellent experience and meal. We bought into the family style experience and shared all 3 mains and various other dishes. Every single one was excellent! Service was attentive and very helpful. The wine list is unique and also enhanced the experience. We will return soon with other friends.
Always a favorite spot for dinner. Food and wine were excellent.
We love the Happy Hour 5-7 Moules-frites special. Very generous portion of mussels and little crisp seasoned fries. Included are two glasses of white or red house wine. Our server was excellent, attentive but not too, and all staff friendly and helpful. Vax certificate requested.
Great Menu and ambiance. Also, so special to find a Gamay bottled Wine from Switzerland on the list.
Amazing white people and innovative wines.
good service, good food, roomy tables
Once again, we had a thoroughly delightful time at A Cote. We asked to be seated in the patio and, although it was initially a little chilly, the heaters placed throughout the area did their job and we were comfortable during our meal. Malia, the wonderful server we had enjoyed during out last visit, was our server again and she did not disappoint. We were particularly impressed by how knowledgeable she is about the wines and the dishes and the modes of preparation. All the staff were super attentive and kept busy, without seeming to rush around. And the food was, as expected, terrific. The Moules Frites did not disappoint in any way. And the Scallops with Polenta Verde, Golden Cauliflower, and Crispy Shallots were beyond expectations. Oh, and the wines were lovely. We will definitely make this our favorite go-to restaurant from here on in!
Service was great. Food was delicious. Comfortable atmosphere. Wonderful restaurant - we've dined there many times.
Nice date night restaurant. Great food, and service. Very comfortable and romantic.
A cote is a friendly neighborhood style restaurant with excellent French everyday food.
It has a full bar, and the one facet that is not at least very good is that drinks are a bit pricy.
Delicious meal. Great service. Try the mussels with fries.
Our waiter was amazing and treated us to a sparkling wine toast for our anniversary. We felt super safe with the Covid protocol in place at A Cote. The food was delicious and atmosphere just right for a romantic evening out. We plan on coming back for mussels and pommes frites happy hour!
Our server was the best I have had in years. A true professional. A long lost skill I had forgotten how good that could be.
Had been a long time since we’d eaten here. Food was very good, but we found it odd that none of the shared dishes were provided with serving utensils. Not a single one. So to share between four of us, we had to use our own utensils (including after we’d eaten with them). We also ordered a scallop dish and a side dish that was a polenta, only to find out the presentation of the scallops was on the exact same polenta. I would have expected our server to say that when we ordered both - we’d have passed on the side dish. Also, we were celebrating two birthdays out of four people, and had noted that in the reservation - no acknowledgement. Not a huge deal, but why ask then?
Food was good as always, nice outdoor patio in back, def would go back. Just for the prices (and based on prior experiences) expected a bit more polish.
It was fantastic!
We were seated outside with a big heater…so very comfortable. Waitress was friendly, and knowledgeable. We loved the flatbread, Caesar and French fries. Ok ribs. Only complaint was that serving utensils were never offered or provided for our shared dishes; and fresh plates were never offered.
We ate in the outside dinning area in the back of the restaurant. It was beautiful!
The settling, service and food were amazing! I had the mussels, a salad and the flatbread. The mussels are so flavorful, I don’t eat mussels anywhere else.
I love that I can describe the type of wine I like and they know just what to suggest. Thank you for another wonderful meal!
We had great service from Patrick! He was amazing. Explained some of the sparkling options and meal options. We had a wonderful wedding anniversary dinner. We are definitely planning on coming back!
The server did not acknowledge it was our anniversary, even though i indicated as such on my OT reservation. Also, dropped the check at our table with no “thank you”. Very cold and impersonal service.
As always, every dish was amazing.
The back patio is lovely.
Service was attentive.
Nice for an overdue gathering with dear friends and a cousins’ reunion weeks ago!
Nice set up. Loved the mussels and dessert
The happy hour mussels and pomme frites are delicious and a great price. The desserts were really, really, good.
I like the Mussels & Pommes Frites when I go there. Fabulous with a salad & a Scottish Ale.
Great ambiance, great food. Perfect for date night!
This place is a classic and is always enjoyable! We sat on the back patio and had a delicious dinner!
The food was very good - loved the mussels and fries! Service was friendly albeit a bit slow but we weren’t in a hurry.
I would definitely recommend for a casual dinner outx
Consistency is key here- as good as it ever was! The mussels never disappoint. Excellent desserts.
This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Sadly, I will not return. I ordered two dishes: "roast vegetables with feta" was really a mushy tomato and eggplant stew; the halibut was chewy, and rested on a bed of overcooked beans in the same tomato stew as the first dish. I don't eat tomatoes. Servers were personable and helpful.
Fresh and delicious seasonal fare with fabulous, attentive service. Will absolutely be back!
What a pleasure to be back at A Coté. The food, as always, was fantastic for both the carnivores and the vegans in the group. Our server was very knowledgeable and knew the wine list almost by heart.
My only suggestion is that A Cote add some lighting to the three stairs in the hallway leading to rear patio. The lighting at A Cote is "mood" low, and our eyes did not adjust well to the dark hallway. Someone could trip on those stairs, easily. Be safe: install a low light to illuminate the steps. :)
Great ingredients prepared expertly. Sat out front in their parklet, so didn't get the full ambiance, but they did more than anywhere else I've seen to make the makeshift seating area comfortable, including cushions and curtains.
Mediocre food, pre-mixed cocktails, poor wine list, overpriced. Service is OK.
