Este establecimiento es uno de los destinos gastronómicos principales de San Diego desde hace más de 40 años y uno de los restaurantes más singulares y memorables. El restaurante se encuentra dentro de una réplica de una casa de campo francesa de la Primera Guerra Mundial, decorada con fascinantes recuerdos militares, antigüedades y reliquias de la aviación. Ofrece vistas al aeropuerto Montgomery Field y tiene un ambiente acogedor y romántico, con grandes chimeneas de piedra, asientos tipo cabina íntimos y vistas hermosas. El menú es amplio y ofrece carne de res añejada procedente del medio oeste y marisco fresco. También destaca filetes de res de calidad USDA Prime, costilla de angus de primera calidad asada a fuego lento, cola de langosta, pescado fresco, costillas de cordero, platillos principales de ensalada, pollo, marisco, platillos de pasta y postres fabulosos. Do not go here. It is a shadow of its former self. Lunch buffet is not made on site. Why is there a ramen station with noodles in store bought style packages? Drinks in mini solo cups. Outrageous price for delivery. The food is like what you would get in a nursing home. NO, NO, NO!

I had high expectations. The place is cute, but the food is not of the best quality when it comes to the hot plates. The sushi was ok. The buffet features a ramen station, which is a fun addition, as well as a stocked mini fridge with ice cream and frozen treats. The cool part is that you get never-ending champagne for mimosas, which makes it worth the price, and they also have frozen orange and raspberry juice. However, going there to enjoy the food is not as much fun.

Service and atmosphere is fantastic. The food was inedible. We went here to celebrate my son’s birthday and my retirement from the military and were very disappointed. The steaks were all over cooked. My wife got the seafood pasta and the calamari was basically rubber bands. Definitely ruined a very special day.

Checking in was not what one should expect when dining out at this price point (or even at Dennys for that matter) All three ladies were unfriendly and short. Not a smile in sight when we (6 in our party) walked in , nor during the paying and seating experience. One Immediately states “That will be $522 (and change)” It made the whole group feel awkward. Especially the birthday guest who doesn’t need to know the bills tally. Maybe saying something like “Welcome!”(with a smile) and quietly tell the person speaking for the group that they take payment first, asking if they are celebrating anything special etc. With an all in per person being about $89, you’d expect some class in how you are seated and how money is exchanged. Next time we will go to someplace where the money you drop there is respected. Our waiter Jesse was the only good thing about this place. Food was plenty but extremely mediocre.

Flies all over the place. We were sat next to the bus station with cleaning supplies. It was disgusting. We had to smash flies ourselves. Cocktails awful. Food was really good. Service awful. Would never go back.

Really could not be better. Service was fantastic and the food was superb. Everyone needs to go here, now. Practically perfect in every way.

The buffet was great! None of the containers were empty and everything was hot/warm. Some items were steaming. The selection was wonderful and everything seemed fresh. Nothing was seasoned weirdly. It is a very clean place. The employees are very nice. Vanessa helped us to our table and she was awesome. I think our server was Jen? She was perfect, not annoying, but there when we needed her.
