The brunch was amazing, lits of choices. Love this place
I would normally have recommended this restaurant to anyone, but something has changed. The food quality has gone down. The cut or quality of beef used is not the standard you used in the past. The beef was tough with a lot of gristle, and was very dry. The fish had no accompaniments (lemon or tarter sauce).
Service was poor. Difficult to get drink refills.
The ambiance is unique with a lot character.
You have used the same chairs for a long time, but they are not very comfortable. Your booths are to tight and cramped.
Always plenty of food and includes bottomless mimosa’s!
Win, win for me, and I will return.
Had a great time!
Wonderful food and professional, friendly service and outstanding value for the money, especially the Early-Flight dinners. Cozy ambience and quiet enough to carry-on a conversation at the table without having to raise your voice. Highly recommend this restaurant.
*VERY* disappointed! Took my wife for her birthday. Little did I know that a wedding had taken place earlier. It would not have mattered, except that they had rented the back room for a reception, and the DJ only played songs at 11! There was not a single corner of the restaurant that was peaceful. And to top it off, as the evening grew later, the staff began sliding couches and chairs along the floor right past our table until the aisle was nearly full. Just random couches and chairs; piled right at our table.
If you're looking for a nice place for a date night, don't go here. Try Hooters. It's probably quieter and more romantic.
Always a great quiet date night out.
Lots of food, but poor quality. Waiter was great, constantly taking plates and refilling drinks. Very poor quality food.
Not on their game. Food was cold, table too cramped for 7 people, no creamed corn :( overall it was ok but for the price tag it should have been much better.
This was a great place to have my retirement party. The noise level was down so we could hear each other. the buffet was tasty and convenient. the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, we all loved the experience.
We went there for the Christmas buffet. For $49.95 per person, I don't think it was worth it. The size and variety of the buffet was good, but the food was bland, dried out and not the quality that I have been used to at this location. Service was excellent and atmosphere was comfortable, if a little loud. Just disappointed and I don't think we'll be back.
The 94th Aero Squadron, an eclectic setting donned with aeronautical relics from past and present. My family and I (which entailed myself, my husband, my 17-year-old stepson, and my frail mother-in-law who is bound to a wheelchair) made reservations for 4:45 pm for the Christmas Buffet. It was light out at this point so the ADA walkway was visible for all of us to enter in together. We were placed at the first table by the entryway for ease of access, however, the door was kept open and thus a cold draft was continuous upon our table. The hostess motioned towards the buffet and went off to take care of other business.
My stepson and I went first to see what was being offered. Not all of the dishes were properly labeled and the lighting was very dim. I was able to make out what some of the food was, but overall, I had to seek out a server to inquire about what everything was. I felt as if I was taking too much of their time by doing so.
The food was subpar due to the level of warmth. that was provided by the burners underneath each serving dish. They had prime rib which looked to be extremely rare, salmon, turkey, ham, king crab legs and snow crab legs (limited tools available to eat with) an assortment of desserts (not labeled), vegetables and fruit, and what looked like cranberry juice as well as egg nog. They gave each guest of age a complimentary glass of champagne and provided water for everyone.
As we left, the ADA walkway was not light so I provided light with my phone for my mother-in-law to exit safely.
All in all not worth the price for a buffet, but I know that their regular menu is outstanding. I will not be attending this holiday event again and would rather suggest that they close the place for the holiday to give their staff a day off.
One of the best restaurants to enjoy for a holiday meal with family and friends.
It literally was the worst buffet of my life by a long shot. Cheap food, bad service for 50$ a head. Once again new ownership thinks they can come in and go on the cheap and suckers will still come faithfully.
We had a wonderful experience for Christmas dinner, staff most of all was top notch, they timed the arrivals and so nothing was crowded and no big lines at the brunch table. Plentiful great food. Our wait person was just supurb and we thank you for a great time!
It was a birthday but because it was also Christmas the server never even mentioned a thing, although it states it on the sitting receipt. My daughter was a little disappointed but hey at 25 she knows life comes with those 😑besides that it was beautiful
We are not going here ever again. Rude hostesses (why they needed two side by side who only sat there and gossiped among themselves was a mystery), UNDERCOOKED turkey, fatty rare prime rib or a slice of dry, tough well-cooked prime rib, tough teriyaki steak entree, cutbacks on what used to be offered at this same Christmas Day buffet including tiny portions of carved meats, which was mainly inedible anyway, no rolls or bread, just dessert-type pastries like Danishes, only cakes for dessert, no pies or other goodies. No labels on many of the foods, including the mystery soup, not kept hot in the always-open burner trays. Runny cranberry sauce, but the horseradish was good, good spring mixed green salad but no other veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. A ripoff for $49.95 per person and the cheap free champagne was barely cold.
94th Aero Squadron has lost my family's long-time business over this dismal Christmas Day meal.
Ben here many times and the food has been great. Not so on Christmas. Salmon was mush, short ribs were tough. A little disappointed. Love your lunch buffet, mother's day, Sunday, etc. Don't know what happened here and hope it was not a prediction of future fare.
I expected cloth table coverings which they’ve had before. It adds to the comfort and style of the decor. The service was slow and appeared overwhelmed.
Long wait and less than satisfactory service. Food very good.
Always enjoy service and food at 94th. Glad it is still around after all these years!
We made a reservation for two pm on Sunday. When we got there they told us we had 30 Minutes to eat before buffet closed and No other food options available. Should never have taken a reservation if this was the case. She did call to inform me but I did not get message before we got there. They did give us -10% off. And let us stay till whenever. Food was all cold and service was terrible. Do not go on Sunday. Otherwise very cool aero themed restaurant.
Our server was great. Food was very good..ambiance warm and welcoming.
The restaurant was festive and the wait staff were very polite and well informed.
Good wine special, very good service, great rack of lamb, poor prime rib, all out of bibb lettuce.
We made reservations for 4:00. When we arrived there were people all the way out the door in the rain. We went to the desk to check in, then waited in our car. After an hour we decided to go to McDonald's. We were finally notified of our table after 1 1/2 hours.
I dont understand why you bother to take a reservation. A horrible experience.
While I would say that I would recommend 94th Aero Squadron as a restaurant, we will never go there again for Thanksgiving. The dinner there was a nightmare! The manager there should be let go after the debacle that was Thanksgiving. Even with weeks notice that it was going to rain on Thanksgiving, they allowed reservations to be filled with the expectation of using the patio tables. This was the excuse given for the delay in seating reservation times. They had every opportunity to rent some party tents that would have covered the patio tables and I'm sure people would have been willing to sit outside with tents and heaters, but they chose not to do so and instead made people wait outside in the rain for over an hour for their reservation time. We had an elderly aunt in a walker and had to wait in the car while other members waited in the cold outside the door. Everyone was upset and the atmosphere inside showed the anger everyone felt. Not a good holiday vibe at all! And to top it off, they ran out of pumpkin pie early in the day! How does that happen at a Thanksgiving dinner? We will go back for regular brunch and dinner, but we will never go there for a holiday dinner again! Such poor management decisions should be addressed.
I convinced my daughter and son-in-law that the 94th was a good place to go on Thanksgiving afternoon.
However, standing on line for an hour and a half to get a table was a little over the top.
The 94th's failure to provide benches or chairs for those on-line with a reservation was really bad.
The 94th really needs to teach its staff how to not overbook and how to handle an overbooking problem.
Staff was great.
Food was good except it would be nice to get salad and other foods not pre-made with a dressing.
We arrived on Thanksgiving at 2:30 in the pouring rain, for 2:45 reservation. There were a million people waiting at front of restaurant under awnings. We heard grumblings that the wait was 30 - 60 minutes due to the rain (outdoor seating unavailable). Our party of 6 moved into the bar (there were open seats) and waiting about 5 minutes before we were called for our table.
The food was average for the price (there was no pumpkin pie on the dessert table!), although the seafood was tasty. We all agreed the best part was the carving station with prime rib, turkey and ham. Our server, Cheryl, was outstanding and was so cheerful, even though she was super busy.
Considering the weather put a damper on the amount of seating available, the staff did an amazing job fitting everyone in as well they could.
The restaurant was way overbooked. We were seated 45 minutes after our reservation while others were reporting a 90minute delay pst their reservation. The process for checking and seating was chaotic and at times rude. The food was average with the presentation poor...no labels...you were left to guess.
Brunch was fantastic! The ribs they served were some of the best I’ve had. Eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. Shrimp ceviche was flavorful and delicious. Full omelet station with endless options. Desserts galore and so much more. Too much to list and the price was very reasonable. Don’t miss out on this one!
I have recommended this restaurant for years. It is a wonderful location and the food and ambiance are incredible.
Most Enjoyable brunch on the patio. Michael was our server and was excellent. Michael made sure our table was clear at all times and our champagne glass was always full much appreciated Michael . We will be back for sure.
I was looking forward to an amazing time and experience. We were at a nice table but discovered the tables were so close it made it difficult to not be part of their conversation.
Service was a bit slow but not miserable.
Half way through our dinner the service staff put together 3 tables for a party of 8 young ladies. We were 3 1/2 feet away from them. Needless to say they were celebrating and got incredibly loud.
Poor choice for the restaurant...they had an entire upper level to put this part on away from the 2 and3 people at tables for a dinner.
I would never go back and I will continue to tell people about lack of consideration for their customers. We couldn’t wait to get out of there....birthday dinner ruined.
I should have had the lunch buffet.........for $14-$15...........the best gig and i viewed the buffet, very clean, good looking food and plenty of options along with salad/soup and dessert. I had the burger, it was not good, my guest had the prime rib sandwich...........was good but their not jumping up and down. Stuffed mushrooms were a tad mushy and fishy, prime rib bites (appetizer) was a great sauce, but mostly fatty pieces of meat.
First of all, this was for my daughter's 27th birthday celebration. I sent a message to the restaurant asking for a table with a view near the buffet, as myself and 2 other family members in my party are disabled and needed close access. When we arrived, I let the hostess know that 2 members of the original party of 8 weren't able to make it and they asked us to wait. After waiting about 10 minutes to be seated, we were hustled to a table WAY IN THE BACK with ZERO VIEW and far away from the buffet!! After we sat down, wait staff gathering plates were rushing by and knocking into our chairs where my 8 year old granddaughter was stuck in between my husband and daughter unable to move. I was very upset but chose not to make a fuss. Well, we sat, & we sat, & we sat for almost 20 minutes with no water, no service, NOTHING! I was about to get up & ask for a manager when an older, bald gentlemen finally arrived at our table. The same gentleman I had watched the ENTIRE time bussing tables, filling special request orders on the lower level the entire time paying VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to the table of 2 young, beautiful women who sat by the window only to complain to the manager on their way out about something and the manager offering a 10% cut on their bill only to be told they wanted their ENTIRE meal compt. Really? Couldn't this have been done in a more discrete location? We finally got some water & waited ANOTHER 10+ minutes to get some champagne, again, really? With 3 of us on disability on fixed incomes, eating here at these prices had to be planned and SAVED for!! No champagne? We finally got to go eat and guess what?! NO PLATES!! Are you kidding me? After waiting for plates, we proceeded to the buffet. And guess what?! Dressings for the salad had crap in them, no tongs for getting a lot of the food and..help me with this..TIP BASKETS AT EVERY SERVICE STATION?? T A C K E Y!! SO much more happened. call me @951 420-9465. I have SO much to complain about!!! MAD!!
We enjoyed the meal and brought home half for lunch the next day.
Expensive Brunch with low quality flavorless food.
We were there celebrating a homecoming, a promotion and a retirement. It was fantastic. Thanks.
