Food was mostly great. Reuben was spot on. Au Jus with the French Dip was flavorless but the sandwich was perfect other than that. Chips and queso was good. Waitress forgot about the appetizer but brought it quickly when reminded and comped it. Cocktail flight was worth it. Beer was cold.

celebrated our anniversary at 940 and weren't disappointed. It'd been almost a year since our last visit and will make it more often now that we've been back. service was impeccable and Brian was more than gracious providing a great experience. Highly recommend this to all of our friends.

Well the happy hour was nice on a Sunday but the food wasn’t really that great. The poutine lacked enough brown gravy to make it tasty and it took forever to come out for some that is just fries, gravy, cheese curds, and green onions. Also the side of risotto was not risotto but wild rice that was very bland. The tenderloin filled cheese was more like brisket which is fine but call it brisket.

It was an incredible experience overall! The waitress was kind and attentive, providing speedy service. The food and wine were both excellent, and the atmosphere had a great vibe.

We have always loved 940 but this time was terrible. The service was absolutely awful from beginning to end. It took an hour and 40 minutes just to get our food and the place was just as busy as it has always been in the past. And after waiting all that time for my food, it was cold when it was brought to me. I took one bite and it was awful. Even to get a refill for coffee took 20-30 minutes as there seemed to be a new excuse each time. I had to go chase down the check to leave as it had been over 20 minutes that we were told our check was on the way. It will be a while before we consider going back there which is a shame as we usually love it there.

My wife and I sat at the bar for our date night. The cocktails were amazing, as were our mains. We enjoyed the creative cocktails that the staff had developed.

A sign was outside upon entering the restaurant yet none of those items were available. It was a foldable sign so it was just placed outside - not a great start. Server seemed new and unsure of her answers. Rueben was supposed to come with 1000 island but none was on it. When we asked for it, it was brought out but only to be charged for it. Burgers and chicken sandwiches were ordered along with grilled tenderloin. Burger and chicken sandwich came with bkfs potatoes vs fries though listed with fries- comedy of errors that detracted from meal.

I am a local and spend a fair amount of time on the square, but have only been to 940's a few times. I had a friend from out of town come visit on business and he's a big fan of wine and craft cocktails so I figured this was right up his alley and your restaurant did not disappoint! The wine and cocktail selections were creative and diverse. The food menu was mouth watering. I had the tenderloin grilled cheese with the friend egg and I can safely say that it may have been the best grilled cheese I have ever had in my entire life. The side of shaved brussel sprouts rounded off the meal quite nicely. All in all a great evening!
