   What a great find in Lafayette. The food was excellent and they have a varied menu that has a little of everything, and one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever tasted. Will definitely put them on our schedule for next time we are in Lafayette.

   This was our first time here. The restaurant is a nice little tucked away gem in Lafayette. All the drinks were loved, beer selection was adequate, starters and mains were very good. Only complaint was from my wife, who said her burger was burnt. She's not one to send food back, and it wasn't a deal breaker so we'll be back again!

   The ambiance and service was fabulous. However my husbands omlet was over cooked and my tuna salad had barely any salad. The French toast we share was amazing. We had heard so many good things and were disappointed.

   What a special place for dinner and or drinks! It's a gorgeous restaurant in the historic Purdue union with an amazing and diverse menu. Most notable was the customer service from beginning to end. Very impressed!

   Loved our first time here. We had a lovely lunch with excellent bucatini and a burger. Service was very good and solicitous. My only comment is about the carafes of water. They certainly have seen better days and the top portion (with the spout) seem to have some deposits on it. This applied not just to our carafe but neighboring carafes as well. Otherwise very well done.

    Welcoming service. Nice wine selections. We all enjoyed our meals but my salmon, beluga lentils and broccolini were all dry. Happy to have a carafe of water on the table! The dessert our waiter recommended was not available, so that was disappointing. My second choice dessert wasn’t available, either. Maybe we should have ordered those first? Lovely atmosphere. We were hoping to celebrate a birthday with a candle in something, but that was not available.

    The service was amazing, Anna was wonderful. A couple of things we wanted on the menu were not available. Sat in a busy area by the host stand and the kitchen. Would have enjoyed a more private table.

    The food that arrived warm was excellent, however, service was so slow the medium rare steak frites was cold. We weee rushed off, despite the slow service, in order to seat the next reservation. Gratuity was added, which was fine, but we were not told about it

    We were here for brunch on a Sunday. Vegetarian options are limited. Two of us out of four ordered the avocado toast and I must say it was disappointing. The seeds tasted off. The other two orders were quite good. Service was great!

    It was the perfect spot for a date: dark but not too dark, good ambient music, and very clean. The food was superb and the service was extremely helpful and timely. Overall a beautiful little place.

    Food is mid for the price. We got the Spicy Shrimp pasta and truffle bucatini, they were okay. Better Italian restaurants for thsi price point exist.

    Our 1st visit. Service was great! Crab croquettes & wedge salad were good but not great. Both entrees were wonderful (forget the names but burger & pot roast). We’d both order again. Got the key lime pie to go. Best I’ve ever had! A little overpriced.

    Best Monday Night fine ding in Lafayette or West Lafayette period! Nice parking garage across street. Great bar -student staffed it seems which is refreshing Not cheap dining, but great food.

    We love 8eleven. It’s our favorite place when we visit our son at Purdue. Food is always excellent- and so is the service. Today was our first time with the brunch menu. Yum!!!! We will be back!!

    Last night dinner was very good. Whenever we stay at Purdue Union club which is very often, we always dine at 8 Eleven. We are very familiar with their menu and service and we always leave satisfied. Actually I’m writing this review while sitting at one of their tables now, enjoying a glass of orange juice and breakfast.

    Eight Eleven restaurant at the Purdue Memorial Union is a must-visit for any food lover visiting Purdue. The wagyu tartare is absolutely delicious, with a perfectly balanced blend of flavors that will leave your taste buds tingling. The bucatini truffle pasta is also a standout dish, with a rich, creamy sauce that complements the pasta perfectly. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend Eight Eleven at the Purdue Union for anyone looking for an excellent dining experience.

    Excellent place to try while on or near Purdue campus. Beautiful ambiance- romantic and dimly lit. Great place for a date. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. But I had to laugh bc we both wanted more food after dinner. We should have ordered sides with our entrees for sure.

    Our server was terrific, friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty One suggestion on the burger bun would be to make sure it’s not soggy and that the burger stays within the bun - not hanging well beyond the edges. The burger itself was perfectly cooked inside.

    8Eleven is consistently good. Having lived in Chicago for 17 years before moving to the Lafayette area, we consider 8eleven as close to an upscale restaurant as there is in Lafayette. Food, service and ambiance are are good.

    The food was excellent; long wait time to get food from the kitchen. May be a staffing issue, but disappointing as we couldn't enjoy the meal due to a time crunch.
