The restaurant management does not know how to run a floor and tables for seating and service! We cannot get the table we wanted because they wanted to wait another hour for someone to come in to occupy that table. Completely unbelievable that we couldn’t get the table that we asked for! the food was decent. We had the cauliflower appetizer, which I would say is quite amazing and very tasty! I had a pizza with vegan cheese, and it was very good. The weight staff was slow and someone at our table had a meal prepared not to their liking. It was rushed. Our experience felt rushed! All in all, we will not go back. A lesson learned. I don’t know about the rest of their menu, but the overall experience with the mismanagement of tables and seating, and the time that we are allotted to actually sit and eat, was unacceptable. Not a place I will ever go to again, I do not recommend

We took our son and girlfriend to the Bar One Lounge for his birthday and the service and atmosphere were perfect! The service, from hostess to our servers, was positive, attentive and enthusiastic, without being intrusive. The specialty cocktails were delicious, and the half price wine bottles on Wednesday nights was a nice bonus. All of our meals were cooked well, and all diners had delicious options with tender steak, lower carb fish and vegetables and vegetarian pizza choices. The fire roasted cauliflower and truffle fries appetizers were again a table favorite. Bar One feels like a a high end British pub or Ralph Lauren lounge with a beautiful bar, lighting, dark walls and eclectic artwork. Overall, it’s an excellent experience for date nights, girls night, special celebrations or just a fun weekend night out!

This is a hidden gem in Charlotte. Reminds me of one of the intimate jazz clubs in Manhattan, with great food. It felt like back home in NYC. Will definitely be back on Mondays. If management is readking this, please have live music to be available on other nights as well.

Overall Bar One was a great time. Delicious food, great drinks, and music that kept me bopping my shoulders while enjoying my food. The only thing that my husband and I didn’t appreciate was the attempt to seat us at a table for two that sits in what is clearly the aisle. Cool for the business of using every inch of space to make money, for diners not ideal, which is why we moved our seats. With that said we still enjoyed ourselves and our server Amy was pleasant and knowledgeable.

I love the vibe in the lounge but I can’t see how 20 dollars for an order of French fries (appetizer) is reasonable. The price on them have gone up on them twice now in the span of a year and a half. I think that is highway robbery for potatoes. Other than that the food is good and like how they stay open late where most places in South Park close at 10 or 11.

I haven’t been here in a while and saw that they popped up again on OpenTable. The pizza was burnt and the drink that I ordered was good but in a sticky glass. I didn’t ask for the sugar rim. it wasn’t crowded. The server was very attentive.

What I love most about Bar One is the service. From the time you walk in the door until the time you leave every staff person I encounter is always friendly. One of the bartenders welcomed me back as he remembered me from being there previously.

This was our first time at 800. We will definitely be back! So many tasty things on the menu. We wanted to try so many things. Our waiter went above and beyond. She even got my husband a hot wet towel for him to clean his hands from his wings. The GF cauliflower pizza crust was delicious and we enjoyed the wings!

Much better experience this time. My husband and I always eat at the bar. This time we had our daughters plus one. Sat in the dining area of bar one. The waitress was wonderful. We love the cauliflower. Everything was great. Our precious experience of dining in the var area wasn’t nearly as good. Hostess was rude and waiter was SLOW. Much much better last night. Why tulips on the table in the winter? Huh

Red snapper was delicious, pizza was good but not hot and not served at the same time. Main reason rating it only 2 stars is had a Pepto moment 2 hours later due to the pizza. They need to know how to handle food better. 97 health rating is not quite right. Kind of pricey for the atmosphere. Bar area was not conducive to any reasonable conversations so had them resit us in the "main" dining, which was nothing more than a tight bistro atmosphere. Why they ask for business casual attire is beyond me and no one headed that. Also, the 3 wines we had chosen in succession to being out of stock was ridiculous. If your not going to stock it take it off your list. I just ended up getting a beer that was a bit skunky. Need to know how to store beer and get rid of if past a certain age. Will never go back.

Had an event of (12) for a Ladies Night Out.. My 1st time there...Very impressed. Our waiter...Juan...was Outstanding!! Everyone had a wonderful time. The staff came and sang "Happy Birthday" to one of our ladies....truly made her day special...as well as the Yummy dessert she genererously shared. We will definitely go again.!!!

The Bar One Lounge section is super cool, dark & moody,. Their Caesar salad is the BEST and the double pepperoni pizza so flavorful! Cocktails are expensive but so we’ll crafted. Lunch specials during the week offer a great value, too. We love this place!

This was our second time here. We throughly enjoyed ourself the first time. However, this time we waited almost 30 minutes for service. There were multiple tables that came in after us and received services. I understand being busy but a simple, “We will be right with you, will suffice”. I can say once we received service, the waiter was apologetic.

We will never return. Our server never came to take our order. We had to flag down the manager to put our order in after being seated for an hour and a half. To make matters worse, half of our party received their orders and then we waited another 30 minutes for the rest of the group’s order to come out. All in all we were there for 3 hours and never received an acknowledgement or apology for the delays. It’s a shame because the food was good, once we finally received it.

Went specifically to see a show & was told when I reserved 2 weeks in advance every seat was good to see performer but upon arrival we were seated with our backs to the performance and there are wooden slats blocking the view. Paying $$ for food and no view but lots of peeps piled into the bar had better views and also many tables had front view seats … very disappointing .. food was good, server was cold, next time I will eat pizza next door and grab a seat at the bar.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner for two at the bar area while everyone else went trick or treating about town! We were greeted upon arrival and seated without delay. The meatballs were fantastic! Good wine and cocktail selection.
