Came for brunch with family. We did the Holy S#it two person breakfast and ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. Oh so much food! Great value for what you get. The steak and eggs was a healthy piece of NY strip, cooked medium. Everything was great and reservations are recommended. Our server was very nice and gave us an overview of the historical architectural ambience.

We had an incredible dinner at Church and Union — easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Charleston. The atmosphere is stunning: a beautifully restored 100-year-old church with soaring ceilings, stained glass, exposed brick, and bold modern touches that make the space feel both grand and inviting. We sat outside on the lively patio and loved every minute. We started with the clam dip — rich, flavorful, and perfect with crisp chips — and followed it up with perfectly cooked salmon and an unforgettable lobster spaghetti that turned heads at the table. Our server was kind, attentive. The vibe, the food, and the warm service made for a dinner you want to linger over. Highly recommend for a special night out in Charleston — Church and Union is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern energy. We’ll absolutely be back!

Felt very rushed the whole time we were there. We ordered appetizers and a meal (even delaying ordering our meal) and they still had us in and out in 45 min. Bill was brought before we were even done. We ordered the tuna tartare and it was different but good. Like an antipasto with very finely minced tuna. I had the ravioli which I wouldn’t order again. Very salty and exactly like potato perogies but in a tomato sauce. It was heavy and missing something fresh. My husband had the tuna and said it was really good!

Our experience at Church & Union in Charleston was great! The food was delicious and the service excellent. Sam was our waiter & he was awesome. Not only was he attentive to our needs/wants, but he took time to tell us the history of the building & the restaurant. We highly recommend Church & Union in Charleston.
