Not at all worth the money. The waygu is good, but I don't understand why they'd serve it covered in cheese - shouldn't the flavor of the meat be able to stand on its own? Also, any non-waygu meat you order on the menu isn't prime - the quality isn't good and it came out cold. I'd rather go to another steakhouse or just cook at home. It'd taste a lot better and for a fraction of the price.

This is a really nice date night restaurant. We arrived a little late bc of traffic on the bridge which the hostess was very accommodating which I appreciated. We did change our table to one over. If you are seated by the kitchen it is a little uncomfortable bc your chair will be just a tad out of the walk way and the noise from the kitchen is a distraction to your conversation.

Outside of that my date for the evening ordered the lobster tail which he has decided to never eat at another restaurant it was so good, and 32ounce Ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes. His steak was cooked to perfectly medium and was very tender.

I ordered a Pear Watercress salad which was fairly good and the Where is the Beef? option since I am vegetarian. Of course with any steak house you should be there to eat steak but I just cant lol. The risotto wasn’t cooked all the way through so there were some moments where it was hard, the lentils were dry however the carrots, zucchini and squash were all amazing. (which wasn’t much).

If we should ever go again I would just order the side dishes and would be satisfied with that.

All in all it was a very nice night and my date enjoyed his dinner and we together enjoyed the atmosphere and service.

Mediocre, not worth the money. Steak quality wasn’t as expected and came out cold. They market waygu beef, but then smother it in cheese and butter.

Loved the waygu carpaccio, tasty drinks, the prime rib was flavorful with the rosemary broth and horseradish sauce. The house made bacon bread, yum!

I was so disappointed by their t bone steak. I had never had t bone steak served on the cold plate and even though I asked for medium well, the steak was well done. Also, the gnome steak was covered with sweet sauce and fries egg. Why do they need fried egg on the top of the good meat??! I have eaten at Benjamin New York, Peter Rugar and they have never disappointed me with the quality of the meat. Do not go for T bone steak

The food was OK. Unless you are willing to fork out over $200 for 4oz of Japanese Wagyu, you can pretty much get the same kind of meat at any decent steakhouse.
We tried a t bone and bone in rib eye and Mac and cheese.
The meats were good but not especially flavorful. Hubby can cook and season a piece of quality steak at home with better result.
The Mac and Cheese was good, horribly rich. You can taste the cheeses, cream and truffle.
Waiter was nice and we got to sample their 2 kinds of bread and 2 complimentary amuse bouche.
We sat in the back where a large table was celebrating a birthday. Bit the birthday boy was loud and obnoxious.

Not planning to come back.

Good service. Great steaks... could nearly cut it with a fork! The sides of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were excellent. The coffee combination dessert was out of this world! Expensive but worth every penny. We would definitely return.

Service was a bit too attentive. We wanted to have a drink and casually order, and was checked on for an order, 3x in 15min. Too much.

Steak not cooked to the way we each preferred and 3 of us (out of 4) had to send back.

Disappointing as I was hoping I found my go-to regular place.

Positives: good drinks, quiet, comfortable, enough variety of food.

This restaurant is where you should take your date on a anniversary or bd. Not for a first date. My lord them prices are off the food chain. Just a 4 oz or 8 oz of waygu will cost you between 175$-330$. So make sure you save up money before you make reservations here.

Amazing food! Absolutely one of the most favorable and definitely the most tender steak I’ve ever experienced. We ordered the $85 rib eye. Its over 2 inches thick and takes an hour to cook but well worth the wait. We also ordered the truffle Mac n Cheese and Caesar salad. It’s rich but very tasty as well. I would recommend this steakhouse to anyone!

The food was great as expected but what really made this an amazing dinner out was the service! We never once felt like we had to look for someone to get another drink as they were extremely attentive. Also my husband has some allergies and they made sure to ask upfront and adjusted his meal for this without any issues.

The interior ambience was very nicely. The service was very good. My only complaint is that my NY steak came out luke warm as if it was sitting for a little while before being brought out to me. Perhaps the server was waiting fir the other food and my steak got a little cold. I would try this place again but will probably try other steak houses first.

Been here twice - the food and staff are amazing. We love it for a Friday after work date night.

Pretty nicely stocked bar, good variety of Japanese whiskey (pretty overpriced though). So, I asked for my usual Oban (was kn the menu). They didn't have it in stock, so I moved to Macallan. Appetizers were good (we got the fried Shishito peppers and wagyu sliders). Steaks are nice quality and there medium (That's what I usually order) is pretty nice and tender inside. So, happy about it.

The 7 deg Coffee desert was a nice portion and would be good for 3.to share :)

Overall a great experience. Staff is very attentive.

Excellent, but expensive restaurant, great for special occasions. Great for special occasions. Can't go wrong with any of the American cuts, but best known for their Japanese waygu if you're willing to pay up for a top dollar experience.

The food was insanely expensive, marginally tasty, and very small meat portions.

The steaks showed up on room temperature plates and the meat was warm, not fresh off the grill.

The waiter resisted making eye contact with my female dining partner when she was choosing the wine. The waiter keep t looking at me.

I tried 5A5 because I couldn’t get a reservation at a local steakhouse (Harris, house of prime rib, etc. ). But given the choice, next time Morton’s rather than 5A5.

Brought wife for birthday. Very disappointed. Took about an hour to get our food. Waiter only checked on us maybe 2 times in a 2 hour window. Dead bug found on plate and the manager didn’t stop by to apologize or anything. I usually don’t complain, but when you pay $200 for a meal, it should meet a certain standard.

Food was inconsistent. My husbands steak was less than an inch thick. No what he expected for a New York. Our friends ordered prime rib. They said it was good but not outstanding. For the price they expected outstanding. We ordered 2 desserts, both only OK. It was my birthday so they could have told I would get a complimentary dessert but they didn't. It came after we ordered and ate dessert. My daughter called the restaurant and ordered 4 after dinner drinks to surprise us. They never came. She was not charged but it ruined a nice surprise. We will not return. Too many other place we like that serve good food, have great service and are less expensive.

They have high quality food - but I had to ask for sauces on the side - because they wanted to smother great pieces of meat with sauces and sides. Don’t overthink it.

Great service, fun weird ambiance, super expensive but only on the A5 Wagyu, everything else was reasonable.

i used to love this place, but the last few times have been disappointing. I've been here 10+ times and the food just isn't what it used to be. Salads are very small, the ribeye was flavorless and the bacon in the mashed potatoes was incredibly chewy. Unfortunately the last visit was my last. They push the kobe beef, which is insanely expensive and even with no wine dinner for 2 was north of $250 - kinda silly for bad food and sharing of app, salad and steak.
