What happened to 5A5?i took my partner here and was a little embarrassed. 1. The chair sit was ripped and felt deflated. Ok, so I get it lots of folks eating here. But with a dinner tab for 2 at $270.00 can you replace your seats with theybare clearly ripped? 2. Waited 10 mins for bread to come to the table, finally just stopped a waiter. Not for me anymore. My attempt to make an impression fell flat.

Ordered the wagu ribeye, which we have had before and it was amazing, this last trip for our sons Bday we had our Ribeyes they were very chewy, we were all very disappointed, management made good and took the cost off our bill, I would have expected a better quality control in the Kitchen, when your paying $150 for a 4oz Wagy you’d expect it to taste like butter . All in all great evening with the Family

Everything was just okay. For the price of the meal I expected more. Started off by ordering dirty gin martinis which they forgot the dirty part. Ordered the Ribeye which was good but wasn’t blow away by for the $79 price tag. Also had the mashed potatoes which weren’t anything to write home about.

This was a great place for dinner. I took my wife to 5A5 for her birthday and they were absolutely great. The manager would check on us during our meal to make sure our champagne glasses were filled and that we were doing ok. In fact the waiter and the manager kept bringing us these tasty bites to eat while were were there. I remember the fresh chivichi on a chip that was so good I would have ordered that as an appetizer. If you're in San Francisco I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great food and great service.

We didn’t get served until I asked the manager who our waiter is. The steak was chewy. Only the appetizer were the money we paid.

Overall it was okay. Definitely not special, definitely not worth the cost. I was celebrating my godson’s bday and first year college finish. Only had one night to spend with him until later in the summer. Searched a bunch of places and chose this one so excited to go. Service started very slow and inattentive but improved. Food was “eh”. I purchased their high end cuts and wasn’t blown away. Wine by the glass was terrible. $20 a glass for J Lohr Cab. Terrible. Charge me $20 for JUSTIN or something comparable. Will not go back. Just not worth it. I spent $425 including 20% tip for 3 people and I have had much better for that cost.

Wow. Shocked and saddened a nice steakhouse would let a loud mouth cursing rude techie bro ruin EVERYONE's nice dinner experience. Not one person tried to tell him he was being extremeley loud and rude. We were left for almost 15 minutes to not order when we sat down. Not the level of service I would expect from a steakhouse. If we are paying for it, you all should be able to deliver. Not impressed at all. Would never recommend.

The circular room is loud and we had a table of drunken yelling people banging on their table right next to us. Service was slow but food was good
